It was a good — actually great — style week for Kerry Washington. While promoting the new season of Scandal in NYC, the actress gave us a dizzying amount of looks to salivate over. At the She's Making Media: Kerry Washington event, she had an all-white moment in a sheer and striped off-the-shoulder gown and textured pumps. At the Scandal season three premiere, Kerry showed us she can work mega volume in a plaid Prada gown.
While hitting up the talk show circuits during the day, Kerry was pretty in pink in an embellished Tory Burch dress and navy Christian Louboutin pumps. She then switched to a bold red Max Mara sleeveless dress, accented with a long gold necklace and printed pumps.
For her last — but certainly not any less chic — looks, Kerry experimented with flirty prints. The first outfit was sheer floral Prabal Gurung number finished with black add-ons. The second look was a sleeveless Brood fit-and-flare dress punched up with yellow Jimmy Choo pumps. So now that you've seen all of Kerry Washington's impeccable looks this week, vote on your favorite below!
Natalie Portman, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Drew Barrymore welcomed Fall at the New York City ballet gala last night. We were on the red carpet to get the scoop on the star-studded evening, which featured choreography from Natalie's husband, Benjamin Millepied, and costume designs from SJP's two dates, Prabal Gurung and Olivier Theyskens. It was a special evening for Natalie and Benjamin in particular since they first met while making the film Black Swan, much of which was filmed right at Lincoln Center.

Tory Burch has joined the ranks of multifaceted fashion brands with the addition of fragrance, color cosmetics, and body care to her repertoire that just launched online today. The designer has thought long and hard about her beauty venture, putting a lot of her personal touches on the project. "I was going for tomboy meets feminine," Burch told WWD. "I wanted the vetiver because not only did my father wear it, I did, too, and so did my brothers." The perfume is a mix of zesty top notes like grapefruit and mandarin that melts down into a floral jasmine and tuberose. It finishes with her family favorite, vetiver, and sandalwood. In addition to a spritz, the scent also comes in solid form.
Typically, designers first get their feet wet with a fragrance then might move on to cosmetics (take Marc Jacobs and Michael Kors for example). But Tory is jumping in all at once. On Sept. 25, she will also release a sampling of cosmetics, including a neutral lipstick, a rosy lip and cheek duo, a bronzer/blush palette, and a retractable brush. "I wanted to do a capsule that was quick and easy," Burch said. "I don't have a lot of time to get ready in the morning, so we did a lip and cheek in one — that's how I often do it; I'll put lipstick on my cheeks [as blush] if I only want to bring one thing out with me." Burch will also launch a body cream, lotion, shower gel, and candle at that time (yes, she has been quite busy). Prices range from $32 for the lipstick to $150 for the solid perfume. The perfume and cosmetics are both wrapped in vintage-inspired packaging in Burch's signature orange and gold hues. You can order the perfume and preorder her makeup products now at toryburch.com.
No one hosts a garden party quite like Tory Burch. For her Spring 2014 collection, which was inspired by the French Riviera in the 1960s, the designer invited us in to a botanical wonderland of greens and whites with hints of coral and the occasional sparkle of a jeweled collar. Although we consistently love her bold prints, it was her textiles — dupioni silk, crochet overlays, lattice cutout leather, and pleated cotton — that had us wanting to reach out and touch. Even burlap looked lush, though the oversize beaded appliqués didn't hurt. And we'd be remiss not to take a moment to ogle the Tabitha Simmons-approved accessories: low heels and metallic slingbacks for shoes and handbags that included structured crossbodies, wicker-esque totes (filled with greenery for the catwalk), and another chic update on the fanny pack that had us very happy indeed we came to this folly.
Just because Fashion Week is over doesn't mean the stylish fun has to stop. To accompany its Spring 2014 show (which you can catch right here — in both video and slideshow form), the brand has launched a dedicated website to bring the runway experience to life. See what inspired Tory, the best backstage moments leading up to the show, chic snaps of the model fittings — and every other behind-the-scenes tidbits you know you want to get your hands on. And when that's not enough, there are the most gorgeous shots of every dress, top, and accessory from her Spring line to satisfy your fashion craving.
