Tote Swag

Fashion Week is always more mellow on weekend days. It's easier to catch a cab, there's no rush hour and a (semi) laid back feel is in the air. Maybe that's what compelled three designers to give away handy tote bags at the shows. The "I Heart Shoes" one is by Payless and was gifted at the Abaete show, the middle one is a beautiful Brazilian beach scene a la Alexandre Herchcovitch and the right one is a cool rain print that was prevalent in Mara Hoffman's collection. I was pretty psyched to have collected three cool totes in one day as I'm totally a tote girl — always carrying reading materials with me. Can you guess which one is my favorite?!

Oh rub it in! Lucky sots, the lot of ya! I'd grab for the "shoes" tote in a heartbeat. Then again it'd probably be at serious odds with my poor old whooped sneakers I've been wearing lately. It's a Wisconsin winter, I can't help it!

I voted shoes but I would personally wear the brazilian beach scene. But all are cute.

I personally want the Payless "I Heart Shoes" bag myself... simple, to the point, and kind of cute. I'm not a huge Payless person, but I would certainly stop in the store if they sold that tote there!!!

I love the simplicity of the Mara Hoffman one. Wouldn't clash with a casual outfit or something more upscale.

I like the beach tote best. I'm not a tote person at all but I'd bring that one to the beach with me in the summer.

I hate you! (not really) I only view the outside of the tents and sneak into the Fashion shows at other venues (okay, i've only been to the Victorya Hong one). The shoe one is too cute!!
