This Fall marks not only the return of leg warmers but also the debut of arm warmers. Yep, you heard me right, but before you laugh, give this trend a chance. These cozy, long, and often fingerless gloves are a great way to keep your arms and hands warm in this season's cropped-sleeved coats. Plus, the slouchy, sock-like styles give you lots of finger mobility. Sure, these are trendy, but they're also a cute and practical accessory to add to your winter look. Here are my picks for designer and non-designer versions.
Miu Miu Extra Long Gloves, $270, available here.

Juicy Couture Arm Warmers, $95, available here.

Mohair Fingerless Gloves, $30, available here.

love them. i'd wear them with fingers though, lol, why would you want your fingers to freeze?
1Whip, girl, youre always one step ahead of everyone!
2Aw, thanks, Crispy!
I love these. I need to buy a pair. This morning, as I was walking to work, I kept having to take off my gloves to change my iPod because the click wheel doesn't work unless my fingers are bare. So I really need these, STAT.
3Hmm, good point!
4I think they are cute but not very practical. Maybe we just shouldnt be wearing short sleeves out in the cold?

This reminds me of when Britney Spears wore socks on her arms at the Super Bowl.
Ah the Britney glory days.
6They are cute. I can't see myself wearing them.......maybe my little girl.
7The Miu Miu are cute!! The ones without fingers are cute but not for me.
8I don't really think they're for short sleeves, ANG. At least, I wouldn't wear them with short sleeves. I'd just wear them under my coat for added warmth.
I've been wearing leg warmers for most of my life, too. Not for fashion, but for comfort. I wear them under my jeans and nobody can tell. Before they came back into style, I'd buy old sweaters for a dollar at the thrift store and cut off the arms to use as leg warmers.
9Great idea whip. And I love the idea of wearing them under jeans. I actually like these
10I reread my post and I sound like a bag lady. Ripping up old clothes to act as leg warmers? Jeez.
11LOL! No, you sound like Andie. Or Gwen. Its a good thing.
12Thanks, Jen! I take a comparison to Gwen from you to be the ultimate compliment .
13I guess they make sense for added warmth. But if no one is going to see them, give me some cheap, not-so-cute ones!

i don't think legwarmers ever went out of style in mn. everyone wears them under their jeans. they're great!
15omg they are so cute!
16lol whats next, panty hose over your face?
17haha, Adriana.
18cute, but for someone else. I have loads of jackets and gloves.
19I'm on the fence with these.
20I like the idea about the ipods from Whiplash, i'm tired of having that issue with my gloves......but my fingers will still freeze
21Fingerless gloves? - looks more like some kind of cast to me.
22it's so missy-elliot-hiphop-ish. strange.
