Trend Alert: Cropped Jeans

What to wear when you don't want to wear full-on long jeans but it's too chilly to wear a skirt? I am a longtime fan of cropped jeans, they are fabulous for several reasons:

  1. They have a retro-flair
  2. They show off your shoes!
  3. They are casual chic and go with a plethora of tops
  4. They are sassy!

If that's not enough reason for you to attempt to wear these functional cuties I give up! Oh, and for those who are going to claim they are too short to wear cropped jeans - use SJP as your guide and just throw on a hot pair of heels (Roger Vivier or not!).

My pants never work out this way. They always look like regular jeans just an inch too short. I love the look but I can't pull it off.

Well,it's a great look on SJP in this photo. The problem with a lot of them is how they're cut. They don't get tapered in the right places and end up looking like the flood pants castille mentioned. These jeans in this picture are great, but I wonder how they'd look on me? My legs are thin at the ankle so if they don't fall JUST SO, they look ridiculous. That being said, I love the look! :)

I'm not a fan! Especially when a girl is tall, it looks like or she couldnt afford long jeans or it shrinked in the washing machine.(I'm talking about the jeans of SJP in the picture)

I just posted a look where I'm wearing cropped white jeans from Expresss...they are great for summer nights...I also have a pair of light jean ones that I sometimes wear cuffed for a shorter capri length...this length is so versatile and fabulous! I just love them and I also love SJP's bag in this pic!
