Hear me out. Faded jeans may be reminiscent of the early '90s β a time when supermodels ruled the world β and is that such a bad thing? You may feel compelled to wear a pair with an off shoulder black v-neck sweater and Keds, and as a result look like early Cindy Crawford. Again, not so tragic in my book. But if you dig 'em and want to look modern, take a clue from Alexander Wang (pictured) who twinned the light denim with fun heels and silky textures. But hey, if you want to channel the supermodel heyday, be my guest.
Whoa! I dunno how I feel about these...
Whoa! I dunno how I feel about these...
I think I still have a pair or two buried in my closet.
Please don't let this be newest thng ...this is just so 80's
nope. I can do cream cords or summer white but not faded! You may as well wear mom jeans while you're at it.
Nooooooooo!!!!
I'm a little sketchy about the bleached look, but chances are I'll end up wearing a new pair in the next couple of years I bet.
No thanks
i dont mind faded jeans.. but i really love dark dark dark ones!! they looks amazing on anyone! and should be the only jeans worn!
I don't love faded jeans, but some of the pairs up there don't look all THAT light. Nowhere near as light as the ones in the top pic.
I love white jeans in the summer though.
i i love faded jeans, btu they are hard to find. i just bought a pair that's pretty light, but i really like them. all my boyfriend's jeans are faded from years of washing, and the material is so soft and i want jeans that just feel like his.
I don't mind those Paige ones but most often, faded jeans just look cheap IMO.
Ick. I'm passing on this.
I never stopped wearing faded jeans, haha. But I would never, ever wear a pair of white jeans. I don't care how chic it is.
no me gusta.
no
Non mi piace.
Some of the ones pictured aren't too light. A medium wash is alright depending on what I'm wearing with it, but I'll just never be into the overly bleached look. But then again, I don't care for black denim or coloured denim either. I just like the classic dark blue. Call me old fashioned i guess!
I only usually like super dark blue and black jeans. I do have a pair of white jeans though. They look hot with black high heeled boots and a black jacket. y boyfriend bought a pair of these bleached jeans once... He never wore them. He said he doesn't know why he bought them.
My*
I'll never wear those again.
I don't think light jeans are all that flattering on the body so I chose not to wear them.
Like everybody else said, I will wear white jeans, but not faded.
I don't really want to do this again. My dark jeans are so much more flattering. I can't go back!
Light colored denim is ugly and unflattering. No way am I ever going back!
ewww no. white on certain people is ok ... but not faded. EVER.
a like the form of the
jeans but, light fabric
i don't know, maybe
faded but not so light
fabric......
NO!
No way. Talk about FUG.
Not my fave trend; It can easily make skinny legs look like tree trunks.
Not lovin it...
I try my fashion questions on my daughter first.
I'm not normally one for light jeans but I did just order a pair of really light J Brand skinny's, so we'll see how that goes ...
Oh yes! I love them! Except faded blue denim. That should be banned.
Yay! It looks like I'm the only one, but I'm so happy to see these back again. Like another commenter, I LOVE my boyfriend's faded, washed, sooooffft jeans. Also, I think they add a bit of that badass 90s grunge attitude to an outfit in the same way that skinny jeans add some punk edginess... they won't look like mom jeans unless you wear them with ill-fitting tops and white sneakers.
My gut reaction? Aaaaaabsolutely not. But then again, I said the same thing about leggings and skinny jeans...and I now own both and wear them happily. So for now I'll reserve judgment.
her shoes are great!
You are too sweet! I am so flattered that you put my comment on the blog, haha
