Trend Alert: Red & Purple

A color combo for the more daring, I have always enjoyed pairing two of my favorite colors: red & purple. The deep, vibrant, blue-hued colors create a funky yet exotic synergy; I wear them with dark denim or black. This color combo was big on the runways of the Spring collections of both Prada and Gucci - can you dig it?

I thought about the "Red Hats" too! I love this color combo when it's done the right way. Picking an off-shade can throw this whole look off base.

That top is super cute! Normally when I think of red and purple combined, I just picture the ladies of the "Red Hat Society" wearing nothing but red and purple.
