Trend Alert: Fitted Parkas

I usually associate parkas with Starter jackets and football games — not anymore. The new wave of fitted parkas are designed with the city girl in mind. This year's crop boasts glossy finishes and slim shapes. While parkas of the past were bulky, these new cuts flatter your shape. I prefer mine girly like this Juicy Couture Puff Coat ($448). The glossy finish and embellished trim is sure to keep me looking chic in the cold weather. Are you ready to put some puff in your coat?

blegh, I do not like parkas at all - I do love the Marc Jacobs one, though, but I think that's more of a puffer jacket (which I do like)...

Nice! I'd like to have something like that... I'm tiny, so I look ridiculous in puffy parkas, but maybe something like this would be better!

Sadly enough for those fashionistas in cold weather, parkas are never cute.

I have two of these! One that's similar to the INC one (black and short) and then one that's similar to the main picture. I absolutely love both of them because they keep you warm but you also look chic!
