I've been looking for the perfect white tee for some time now, but can't seem to find it Now regarding these three in the pics above, Nicole looks fab, while the other two...LL, just don't get me started on her, she looks awful. And LC it's just too blah. Hmm, why am I, so harsh today ?

i have a ton of Hanes Men's V-neck T-shirts, they are the most comfy i sleep in them, do sports, under my sweaters, etc etc.

i bought 2 GAP white tees today at a factory outlet, very cute with a little pocket in front.

I agree...I've seen Nicole rock simple white tees with a number of adorable outfits. A white t-shirt is the perfect piece to throw on when you have a more elaborate skirt/shorts/pants or funky accessories. Forever 21 makes amazing plain tees for around $5.

LOVE white tees. Just bought that Target one yesterday.

I think the white tee is overrated. I feel like we just THINK these ladies look chic because they're celebs. Any regular person walking down the street wearing a white tee and jeans...I probably wouldn't notice them! Or I'd think, "wow, they really didn't feel like trying today." If I'm going to wear a simple solid tee, I make a statement necklace or a scarf be the focus and the tee becomes the backdrop.

I dont own one single white anything much less a T.

I love James Perse for tees. They slouch in just the right way. I not only have it in white but also black, yellow, and a variety of blues. LA Made is also great for finding tees that have great length on them. And I've found some great Velvet tees on sale at Olive & Bettes or Anthro.

Hanes t-shirts are also great. I buy those and trim the sleeves.

Whenever I can't find anything to wear...I turn to the white tee. Always reliable and always wonderful!

I live in my Hanes men's v-neck ts all year round. It may be boring to some, but it's really what you can do with them.

Basically, I have found what works for me and my personal style. Everybody is different.

I love JCrew and Express tees. They have a really great fit.
All of my tees are long sleeved. I never really got into the short sleeve thing. It feels to casual.

spharrell - I was thinking the exact same thing! I remember when they posted the pic of nicole in this outfit everyone was falling head over heels for how stylish she is - but it's a tee and jeans. While comfortable and sometimes cute, it's nothing shocking. I, too, will make sure to wear some funky jewelry or a head scarf or just something to make it look a bit more "me"

The Limited perfect fit tee fits me perfectly (hence the name i guess) and -- it's usually free! I get all kinds of Limited coupons in the mail ($30 off your purchase of $100 or more, or $15 off your purchase) -- i get at least two a month. Limited is pretty liberal with their sales, and it's not hard to find a weekend where everything isn't 25% off, making the 19.95 shirt less than 15 dollars and with my coupon - free!

i dont see why you would buy a plain white t at barney's or neiman marcus when you can get them for so cheap at walmart. i dont think its an overrated look.. i think its great that celebs are making it ok to be casual. you dont have to look all glam and fab every day. a white tshirt will do just fine, and can look effortlessly fashionable.
