Twelfth Street Lotus Tie Waist Tunic: Love It or Hate It?

Have I ever mentioned I loathe the color putty? While this color looks horrible on me - totally drowns me out - I think it is one of the ugliest shades of brown out there. That being said, I think this Twelfth Street Lotus Tie Waist Tunic, $282, is a cute style but the color spoils it for me. What do you all think? Love or hate?

Well, to put my redheaded two cents in... This color looks actually works on auburn redheads. It makes your hair look really bright and, well, red. It also works well with our usually pale, freckly skin.

Undecided..the color or price maybe. I definitely don't think it's worth the price.

Awful color, fabric, and cut. Those freaking lace bibs and cuffed sleeves are so done already.

Putty doesn't flatter me either- but then, neither does brown OR yellow, two of its main ingredients! I can't wear anything "muddy". Clear and cool baby, that's how us Irish-skinned gals have to wear it.BaltimoreGal

This is one of those things that's just as you said: On a person with that certain <i>je ne c'est quois</i>, it would look good in that color. Otherwise, hope it comes in something more accessible.The styling is excellent, although it has the potential to become ubiquitous like so many other looks these days.Was gonna argue the color, saying it was slate and not putty, but it doesn't have enough blue to be slate. It is, however, the exact same color as Boots (UK) brand clay face mask.
