Tonight marks the official London 2012 Olympics kickoff, and with it, another epic moment in sports history is about to launch itself head first into 16 days' worth of nonstop athletic competition. While we're excited to play spectator to our favorite events (women's gymnastics, Ryan Lochte doing basically anything, and beach volleyball), there's obviously another component of the Olympics that we're keeping a close eye on: the fashion, of course. Sure, it's not your traditionally chic lineup of covetable outfits, but let it be known: Team USA knows how to rock some seriously patriotic looks. This year's opening ceremony wares come courtesy of Ralph Lauren, but in years past, we've spotted everything from retro red, white, and blue nylon tracksuits to crisp navy-blue blazers and white beret combos.
