Being a bridesmaid is such an honor - but it is also a big responsibility! To help the bride get through one of the most fun - and most stressful - days of her life I put together a little last-minute checklist of essentials to have handy on the big day. (If you're the bride, check out the checklist DearSugar has put together.)

  • Travel sewing kit
  • Safety pins
  • Moleskin for blisters
  • Stain remover
  • Extra stockings
  • A watch
  • Band-Aids
  • Cash
  • Deodorant/Antiperspirant
  • Pen, paper
  • Breathmints
  • Tweezers
  • Healthy snacks (Check out YumSugar for some great ideas!)

Have these items handy and you will have fulfilled one of your many duties as bridesmaid!

Awesome! I 'm a bridesmaid this Saturday so this is a good reminder.
Don't forget scissors and tape. You never know what you may need to cut. Also, bobby pins in different colors, extra makeup for the bride in her colors for touchups, a mini mirror, brush, comb, a mini bottle of hairspray, clear nail polish, a couple white and black buttons, a small mini curling iron, a pair of backup shoes (cheap white flip flops are the best, a cd of romantic songs (you never know if the something goes wrong with the DJ)stain remover wipes/tide pens are a big one, Pepto-Bismol (for those icky tummies, a couple bottles of water, an extra tote back in case you need to carry items, and fake wedding rings (you can get cheap plastic ones). You never know if the ring bearer has an ‘oops’ and loses the rings. Can you tell I am a wedding planner?
