Just as the first ad for Heidi Montag's collection surfaces, more details on Whitney's Eve & A line appear — coincidence?
Not that it matters, I'll take Whitney's collection over Heidi's any day. Due this Fall, she'll show us 20 pieces including a $195 hooded wool jacket that transforms into six different shapes, a $50 slip with corset detailing and a ruffled hem, and a $100 wool skirt with an adjustable hem.
Whitney came up with the label's name by combining her middle name with the first letter of her co-creative director's name. Her chosen color palette is heavy on the black and grey, with punches of purple and her favorite color pink tossed in for good measure. This flowered look to the left has my attention so far . . .
I am soooo excited to see Whitney's collection...I love her style so much.
oh because I thought she just took adam + eve and turned it backwards.
Im not feelin the name of the collection, but whatever. So far she is leaps and bounds ahead of LC and Heidi in the creativity and orginality department. LCs "collection" pisses me off to no end. I mean, it just a bunch of solid print baby doll dresses, its so boring and unoriginal, im actually kinda embarrassed for her...but as far as I can tell, it looks like Whitney atleast knows how to use patterns...
This top isn't doing anything for me...
I'm not so much into this top, either, but look forward to seeing the rest. I like the idea of pieces that can be worn more than one way.
I am excited to see what she has to offer because as a person she offers much more than Heidi or LC so I know line wise she will do the same!
I dont think it is fair to compare LC and Whitney's line because the girls are going for two different looks. Whitney line is more topshop, whereas Lauren is more Rachel Polly, beachy, casual wear. I have seen 4 pieces from Whitney's collection and I only like this top above. It sounds eccentric but creative. I think both are better than Heidiwood.
Rachel Pally...not Polly.
Meh...
just reading about it is so much more exciting than anything heidi does!
I'm excited to see her collection! I think the top is really cute but the color is not to my liking. The boots are also fug. haha
i'm so excited and ready to buy her stuff! Not a fan of LC's or Heidi's so this will do it!
whitney is very sure of her fashion choices. i think this line will actually reflect HER sense of style rather than some backroom person with whitney just making the final cut. good for her
i look forward to seeing the rest of the pieces, they sound interesting.
NOT IMPRESSED.
Would have to see more of the collection to see how much of it I would like.
Are you serious? That picture above is from her line? That sh*t looks like some hippie crap that dead heads piece together purposefully so that nothing matches! You'd seriously rather wear THIS? Wow.
AT LAST!! A celebrity designer who is happy to acknowledge that she is working with a "co-creative director", in other words, someone with design training and technical know-how who can work WITH her to bring her ideas to fruition! It's so obviously the case that every celeb line relies heavily on such people, it's just a pity more of them don't acknowledge that.
Highly unimpressed...what about the people with real talent? Who could truly make a fierce collection....this is ridiculous
Judging from this dress pictured, I 'm not excited. This outfit looks horrible. Ruffles at the hem of a tunic shirt with a bonnet and cowboy boots? it is just so ugly.
ooo that's one ugly outfit
I love the show but these girls should stick to tv and leave fashion alone
why do those chicks even have "lines"?
