Model Veronica Webb has never played it safe. Do you remember her colorful wardrobe on Tim Gunn's Guide to Style? At a recent event in NYC, Veronica further proved her willingness to test the fashion boundaries by wearing bright blue high-top sneakers with a dress. Sneakers aren't unusual, but when paired with a gray dress and white trench, they stand out. I'm on her side, but do you think she pulls this part sporty, part chic look off?

Urgh she's such a try-hard. She looked mostly awful on Tim Gunn's and her snooty and sarcastic attitude towards the participants made her even uglier

i've seen veronica walking about in soho and she always looks fab even when she's dressed down. i don't know what this get up is all about because the look isn't her at all. hmmmmm (???)

I think they look great with that outfit. Isn't it wonderful to bring a punky alternative to heels? As one who just pulled a tendon wearing grossgrain, J. Crew wedge flip flops, and now as a result of this injury has to stay off her feet while all of her friends are headed to the beech today, I wish, I wish, I wish, I had opted for comfortable footwear rather than 2-inch wedges without any ankle support. I appreciate the beauty of heels, but they are not the best choice for everyone, all the time. We must mix it up, ladies, and dare to be different with our footwear as Ms. Veronica has chosen to do here. Does anybody know where I can get Veronica's sneaks?
