Victoria Beckham in Voluminous Dolce & Gabbana: Love It or Hate It?

She's worn countless dresses from her own collection lately, but Victoria Beckham gave it a rest and visited Dubai in this voluminous Dolce & Gabbana Spring '09 dress. On the catwalk it was accompanied by a jeweled belt, but Victoria opted to leave hers simple. Instead, she donned a jeweled headband. On her feet, she wore Yves Saint Laurent platform pumps. A dramatic, pear-like silhouette is hard to pull off. Did Victoria succeed or did she fail?

I love it; I think she can rock pretty much anything, and I actually would totally wear this! I like that's it's dramatic but not over-the-top and not tacky - so hard to do. the classic black color makes it look chic and tones down the drama of the shape. I also like the jeweled headband, but I kind of wish she had worn it with the belt (I loved it on the runway)...

The dress is a little different but the outfit works. I think that woman could pull off a hefty bag and still look glamorous!

Eh, its eh. Its like London, trash princessy, not real style, trendy. Know what Im saying. Not what I would expect from VB. Looks like shes getting in touch with her original London girl style.. Dont like.

I actually like this dramatic look on her!!! I think it is great shape to appear in a simple black dress. However, I feel that she can pull this off because - let's face it - she is RAIL THIN! Kudos to her!

I love the dress because of how different it looks and I bet she's just holding it out to show everyone the structure and stuff. I just finished her book too, and it's a great read!!!

i know posh can pull off some extreme/severe silhouettes like no other, but i think this is too far. maybe if she wasn't so overdone (thank God she left the belt behind!)

I think if she weren't holding her dress out and had a bit of bed head she's look absolutely brilliant. But as it is she looks a little bit too overdone. And holding the dress out just looks bad.
