Bridal designers are adorning wedding dresses with bows, fabulous bows as a feminine alternative to crystals and ruffles this season. They evoke a fun and whimsical look — see on the runway of Monique Lhuillier left — and are being used as a focal point, embellishment, or scattered across gowns for a more carefree look. This is a beautiful and more casual way to adorn a wedding gown. Me likey.

I tried on a dress that was SO similar to that top one...I loved the waist-tie/bow, but wasn't loving the bottom (all those tucks). But overall, I like the whole bow and wedding dress combo.

I was way ahead of the trend this time, my wedding dress 3 years ago had a bow at the waist and so did my bridesmaids' dresses.

That is my wedding dress!!!!!! I just got it two months ago, but I acutally think it is from the Fall 2006 Collection not her recent collection? Anyways, mine came with a silk sash that is a golden champagne color and is much wider and longer than the one shown in the picture. This dress is amazing though, it looks great on - I was really suprised because I'm so petite. I thought it might be too much but it is perfect. :) Awesome to see it on Fabsugar, though!

I really like the pairing of that necklace with the bow. You don't see that often.
