I once bought a pair of gorgeous black heels, wore them once, and then my dog chewed them up... As you can imagine I was PISSED! Luckily, I love that little pup more than any pair of shoes! :)

I don't spend more than I'm willing to throw in the trash, which is what it would equate to should something damage my precious shoes. I prefer not to burst into tears when life happens! I would pay over $200 for really, really comfortable shoes that make me feel like I'm floating.

I've never spent more than $150 on shoes, but that's because I don't want to - my poor bank account just can't handle. My dream is to someday walk into a fancy shoe store and buy whatever pair of gorgeous shoes I want without even looking at the price tag.

I bought a fabulous pair of Italian boots from Marshall's for $200, then searched for them online and found they were $500 retail! But after maybe less than 10x of wearing them walking around the city, I had to get the heel caps replaced! Maybe I'm just too abusive to my shoes... : T

I go for the $100~300 range. Less than that and the shoes tend not to fit well or feel comfortable. But I'm not rich and $300 is seriously pushing the limits of my budget.

I'm still in college and on daddy's dime... $100-$300 is the most I can justify... but you can bet your ass I'll be splurging paycheck after paycheck come july when I have a real career! ha ha.

I've never spent over $200 for a pair of shoes. I must be cheap. I love to dream about those expensive shoes but I always find knockoffs for $100. Plus, it's almost impossible for me to walk in heels on cobblestone streets.

i abuse my shoes, so it makes no sense for me to spend a lot of money on them. i have a couple of pairs that were about $150, but i only wear them on special occasions.
