the SPLURGE for me is spending over $100 on makeup... i mean, i'd rather be spending it on my shoes, cloths, etc...

This is very very hard. LOL I'm a shoe and purse addict as most girls are. But as I said I have 121 pairs of shoes and a ridiculous amount of purses. I would have to say purses just because the ones I get are so expensive! So that would be more of a "splurge" I guess since they are usually $250-600 for a purse.

I know this really sounds boring but I tend to splurge on things for my house. For instance we recently bought a really gorgeous new front door and I hired a local handy-man to install it. It cost quite a bit, but I just Love it! It improved the front of my house so much. Now I'm hunting for the perfect numbers to replace the old ones that are looking awful. My house splurge list runs VERY long! I don't splurge too much on clothes and purses - I actually love to go looking for totally excellent deals and see what I can get for next to nothing. Some of my favorite deals are when all the summer clothes go on clearance to make room for the fall line. I recently found a nicely made, long, olive green tank with a slight sparkle to it (I can't go with too much sparkle since I'm *gulp* 40). I totally love it and I love that I got it for only 3 bucks.

I am pretty much a cheapskate unless it comes to skin care, so definitely make up. I'm such a cheapskate that 2 months ago I bought a pair of Nike sneakers (on sale!!! at an OUTLET) and agonized over spending $40.00 on them when I usually buy $20.00 ones at Wal-Mart. My feet are happy but my cheapskate conscience has only just begun to stop screaming.

Love it, Sticky...nothing wrong with spoiling your pets. My dog is a right fan of squeaky toys, he's got a whole basket of them. It's so adorable to see him at his basket going through it with his nose to find the one he wants to play with. But he chews the squeak out of them rather quickly so I buy him new toys quite often.
