celebs- from mags, websites, tv, etc. if i see someone who has my skintone, body shape, face shape, or hair colour i think about how good that would be for me. plus i have been learning so much from what not to wear UK and US versions. now i just have to go out and find a fab tailor as my mom does basic tailoring/sewing no darts and whatnot.
