Whitney Port on How to Wear Mixed Prints

Hi, it's Allison McNamara and you're watching Fab Flash at New York Fashion Week. We're backstage at the Whitney Eve show, where we caught up with Whitney Ford, who showed her very first runway show and she told us the inspiration for her fall collection. I really wanted to play up all my prints, I do have some prints so we were doing kind of like a kaleidoscope aesthetic type print and I felt really strongly about starting with the print on print in the beginning and it was kind of a strong outfit, but yeah it was really reflective of my style ending with the fun kind of cocktail party dresses. Filled with head to toe prints, Whitney told me how to rock this gold look. I would say pair it with a solid, you know, pair the top with like a black pant or a jean and wear the pant with like a cute t-shirt a cute blazer. We watched Whitney hone her designing skills on The Hills. And the reality star turned designer told me when she first fell in love with fashion. I don't know, I feel like when I was a really, little girl. I'm one of 5 kids, 4 of us are girls. So, we always had a lot of fun dressing up and I think it probably started at a pretty early age.
