Who Wore It Better? Ralph Lauren Floral Ruffle Dress

When I saw photos of Diane Kruger wearing Ralph Lauren's floral ruffle dress at the Sideaction AIDS benefit in Paris, I instantly approved. Her nude clutch and minimal use of jewelry really work to showcase the feminine print. More recently, Ralph Lauren model, Lonneke Engel, wore the same dress to an event in NYC. The brunette chose to accessorize with a gold metallic clutch and stayed away from any jewelry. Both gals do the dress justice, but who wore it better?

They both display the dress very well- it's quite lovely. Diane is obviously more comfortable in couture. Lonneke's look fell apart slightly when it came to Hair and make-up it's a bit amateur.

I like the way Lonneke gives it a Spanish vibe...other than that, I think the dress is hidg. Yellow? Off the shoulder? Ruffles? Floral? Too much stuff I hate. I think both of them could have easily chosen a better dress.

I love the cut of the dress...not so sure about the fabric. I actually thought both of them wore it quite well, considering the garish yellow coloring of the dress, but I picked Diane, because her pose simply made the dress more becoming on her.

I don't know. I don't like the dress, but I also don't like Diane's hair with it. But I do like Diane's purse.

Lonneke does not look well! Normally she is really glowing =/ I don't really like the dress, I just don't tend to like Ralph Lauren, he never waws me with his designs.

the dark hair looks best with this dress so i vote for lonneke. i think her pose wasn't great but i bet if we saw both of them in person, lonneke would just stand out more. her bag is better too. diane is cute but bland looking. i've seen her pull other things off better

Lonneke. The dress looks like a better fit on her and she looks taller so she can easily pull off a bold floral like this one.

Is it just me, or does Lonneke look like a girl going to junior prom? A girl who's mother made her a dress and has never done hair or makeup before. I think it looks beautiful on Diane though. Definitely not a look everyone can pull off.

Diane would look good in a trash bag and a bungee cord, so really it's her, not the dress that looks good.

It's gross! Floral prints should be approached with caution and I think this one gets it very, very wrong. That shade of yellow is horrible with both these girls skin tones, and the actual print is just far too "granny's sofa".
