Who Wore It Better? Theory Alisse Colorblock Dress

Seeing the versatility of this Theory Alisse colorblock dress kinda makes me want it. Who thought we would be comparing the daring Kelly Osbourne and the darling Miley Cyrus? Not I. Kelly wore this comfy dress in LA but added her flair with a hard-edged, gold-studded belt, sassy pumps, and a black-patent bag. Miley wore it to her Bolt premiere over a white tank and under a varicolored necklace. I can't choose — they both made this dress their own. You choose!

Guys perspective, the high waisted Empire look is usually only attractive on Twiggy type figures. At least Miley distracts you from this with jewelry, a white tank drawing your eyes up, and a more successful pairing of shoes and belt for a more balanced look. Bless Kelly's heart, but the short hair especially, puts the unattractive Empire style in sharp relief. It makes her look fat in the backside. Both these girls are good at accessorizing though. You get a good idea of Kelly's cultural affiliations with her studded belt and shiny leather bag and short hair. Weirdly, Miley and Kelly's families are not all that different, really. I wonder how Kelly dressed when she was 15? (Bolt premiere Nov. 18, 08)

I picked fit and interesting hair (I'm tired of seeing that same long extension style) or shoes. Kelley definitely should have worn black shoes, but overall I liked it on her better. Plus Miley is irritating to those of us who are legal.

I love this dress! let me just start by saying that I can't stand either of these girls. however, while I prefer how Kelly wore it (I like the almost non-matching shoes, the studded belt, and her rock & roll vibe), but I think the dress itself looks so much better on Miley. don't get me wrong, the tank underneath was unecessary and kind of takes away from it, the necklace is lame and kind of ugly, and the shoes match too easily (a little boring), but she looks fabulous...

Miley for sure. I just think the whole look is better in her case... the black shoes, no belt, white tank underneath, and chunky necklace. Very age appropriate.

Correction number one: Miley Cyrus is not "darling", she's annoying, obnoxious and more than a little skanky. Correction number two: Kelly made this dress her own, Miley's stylist added a necklace and a vest.

i think it looks better on kelly, although i feel like if she switched shoes with miley, her outfit would look 10x better.. i'm just not digging the white tank/chunky jewelry that miley has on..
