Wearing a scarf around the head looks good on some people like Grace Kelly, but for most it does look dowdy. I know I can't pull it off.

well I'm a Muslim and i wear it all the time but not this style there are many different styles for head scarves

I would, but since I have an exotic look, people would think I was wearing a headscarf for religious reasons (I'm not Muslim), not a fashion statement. For the same reason, I don't think I could get away with wearing a cute turban hat, though I would love to.

I'm in the boat with Faylinn! Sometimes it's practicality, dears. Also it's nice on not-quite-frigid but windy days to have something to keep my hair down. Keeps me from pulling a Medusa.

I clicked no, but that's because I don't wear them as shown in the picture. However, I do wear scarves on my head and around my neck. I love scarves.

I picked other because its not an issue of liking the style for me its an issue of keeping a scarf on my head. I have a hard time keeping a 1/4" headband on my head all day, the scarf we be off by the time I got to lecture in the morning. Anyways my hair is curly enough as is. Its needs no more adornment (aka busyness).
