Are You Over Scarves?

I know it's only December but is it the attack of the scarves or what? Don't misunderstand me — I love and wear scarves often, but it seems like too many celebrities are wearing them all the time and during inappropriate situations, like on the red carpet and in scorching weather. Lindsay Lohan, has not only been loyal to her leggings since her return to LA, she's also been drowning in lengthy scarves. And we can't forget the leopard scarf epidemic that infected Kate Moss, SJP, and Ashley Olsen. I think scarves are a great way to accessorize a drab outfit, but I'm not for all scarves all the time, everywhere. What do you think? Are you over scarves?

I live in a place where the weather is CONSTANTLY fluctuating and my wardrobe does the same. I can carry off a lighter outfit in the fall with a scarf - and be able to take it off again if the weather gets warm. I try to stick to lightweight/delicate scarfs so I dont look silly wearing them indoors and out. Also, a lightweight scarf in the right color tied properly can make a boring outfit look awesome. But yeah wearing huge scarfs with tank tops and wearing wool scarfs indoors is taking it too far lol.

How can you possibly be OVER scarves? I stopped wearing the scarf as fashion accessory look a while ago, but I love my woolly ones in the winter, they're a necessity.

I live in Florida and it's 80 degrees every day...there's always that one person pulling out the scarf with a tank top. That always confused me because personally, I've never had a cold neck.

Scarves have their time and place. I love them, but there is no need to wear a big heavy one with a tank top in LA. I have several though and I love them all (i also wear them in weather appropriate situations. Thick ones in the winter, silk ones in warmer weather, etc)

they are a necessity in cold weather and spice up my outfit. i love my warm scarves when i was walking in cold paris and amsterdam last week.

I live in scarves in the winter... and they've become an office necessity in the summer b/c of AC. how could I ever lose my love. I still even have the scarf my mom knit me for kindergarten

the only place where a scarf looks ridiculous is in hot weather...but hey if its winter and you are chilly...you know that there is nothing better than warming up with a scarf....I'm ALL FOR THE SCARF people ;)

I love my scarves, especially when it's cold out. As for the "fashiony" celebs, most of the outfits they sport for the paps are ridiculous so why pay any attention to them?

I live in England, where it's scarf weather from October to May, and there's NO way scarves will EVER go out of fashion. They're a must-have, for men and women alike, both as a fashion accessory and a defense against freezing!

I was searching high and low for a scarf last week since the temps here in LA dipped down in the 50s. My scrawny neck gets cold and I hate turtlenecks!
