I really think that this is what designer shoes are all about. Something so impractically artistic that it completely stuns... without just thwomping you over the head with it. If these were any bigger, any chunkier, any other color... it'd be too much. As it is, though, they're the perfect complement to a simple dress.

I love them. I've wanted caged heels ever since I first saw them. I do prefer the YSL patent leather peep toe caged ankle boot that you can find here: http://www.barneys.com/Cage%20Boot/500110169,default,pd.html Alas, I can't afford them.
