SAG Awards: Viola Davis

Updated 01/29/12 6:08 PM · Posted by BellaSugar · 1 comment

Despite being in a sea of fellow beauties at the SAG Awards, Viola Davis is the woman to beat for sheer glamour. Her white Marchesa gown, with its rose gold floral embroidery bodice, is quite the statement maker, and she's got the gold and diamond floriated bangle and earrings to match. She also went with big, vintage-style curls, smoky eyes, and loads of lashes for classic bombshell appeal. What do you think? Is the look as winning as Viola might be this award season?Vote on all of our SAG Awards polls here!

SAG Awards: Tilda Swinton

Tilda Swinton is always full of surprises; just when you think she'll be wearing experimental couture on the red carpet forever, she shows up in a classic Lanvin gown that looks like something right out of Ava Gardner's closet. With its soft vertical draping and long sleeves, her gown certainly does have a vintage feel, especially paired with an oversized gold cuff and softly waved hair. Do you like seeing Tilda's feminine side, or are you always rooting for her next avant-garde turn?Vote on all of our SAG Awards polls here!

SAG Awards: Jessica Chastain

Updated 01/29/12 5:14 PM · Posted by BellaSugar · 0 comments

Jessica Chastain just arrived back from Paris Haute Couture Week, so it's not surprising that her SAG Awards look is a little edgier than most. Her royal blue Calvin Klein Collection column dress has visible underwire cups and a notched neckline, both pretty unexpected on a red carpet that's been full of ball gowns so far. Although her dress is a little futuristic, her hair recalls an earlier era, with perfectly molded curls worthy of Veronica Lake. Do you think the combination works for Ms. Chastain? SAG Awards: Kaley Cuoco

Updated 01/30/12 6:18 AM · Posted by BellaSugar · 1 comment

Proving that she knows how to pull out all of the glamorous stops, Kaley Cuoco went for a Romona Keveza ball gown at the SAG Awards. The shape is kept flattering with a tightly draped bodice that provides a little relief from the featherlike tulle on her skirt. With such a big, romantic dress, it's important to maintain some balance, so Kaley skipped out on the accessories altogether and instead furthered the soft, deconstructed look of her ensemble with an oversized headband braid, made even more dreamy with lots of pulled-out tendrils. The only element with a little edge is her smoky eye makeup. Is this outfit a fairytale come true for you as well?Vote on all of our SAG Awards polls here!

SAG Awards: Diane Lane

Updated 01/29/12 5:16 PM · Posted by BellaSugar · 0 comments

Diane Lane's Grecian David Meister gown is the perfect satiny shade of Mediterranean blue, and it offers a nice contrast to the crimson of the SAG Awards red carpet. With the color and styling, the dress could look very formal, even a little austere, but Diane's tried to soften things with a casual ponytail, minimal jewelry, and makeup that looks like it would be just as appropriate for lunch with friends as it is for the red carpet. Do you think all the disparate elements came together nicely? Or should Diane have simply gone full glamazon for this show? Vote on all of our SAG Awards polls here!

Golden Globes: Sarah Hyland

Updated 01/26/12 6:15 PM · Posted by BellaSugar · 4 comments

21-year-old Sarah Hyland showed up tonight in an elegant Dolce & Gabbana lace gown. Even with the slight wardrobe snafu — her zipper was said to be malfunctioning — the actress still emoted complete radiance. For adornments, Sarah chose a black box clutch and jeweled bracelet. A side-parted wavy updo and natural makeup complete her beautiful look. Does she get your vote?

Kate Beckinsale was a sight of perfection on the Golden Globes red carpet. The beautiful brunette radiated in a strapless gown by Roberto Cavalli paired with diamond stacked bangles and stunning oversized earrings. The fit and flare mermaid silhouette fit her body like a glove, and we like how she kept her makeup simple via a slight smoky eye and a dab of pink lip gloss. Are you loving her look?

Golden Globes: Amy Poehler

Besides cracking us up with every word she says, Amy Poehler has become a bit of a fashion plate as well. The Parks and Recreation star graced the Golden Globes red carpet in a glittery, champagne-colored gown with a sexy cutout in the back. She wore her hair in pretty blond ringlets and opted for pale pink lip color and thick eyeliner that showed off her baby blues. What do you think of the comedian's Golden Globes look?

Golden Globes: Lea Michele

Updated 01/27/12 7:04 AM · Posted by BellaSugar · 5 comments

Glee star Lea Michele dared to bare a little skin in a revealing metallic Marchesa fishtail gown. The sheer and embellished details on top covered Lea Michele in all the right (and strategic) places, while the shimmery train was a strictly body-hugging silhouette. Her emerald cocktail ring and costume jewelry-inspired earrings were stunning standout pieces that accentuated her burnout-style dress instead of taking away from it. She went with a dark smoky eye, a nude lip color, and a sleek, pulled-back updo. Thoughts?
