Get Pumped — Phillip Lim Is Coming to a Target Store Near You

Target announced today that it is collaborating with designer Phillip Lim on an exclusive Fall 2013 collection, slated to hit Target stores on Sept.

Target announced today that it is collaborating with designer Phillip Lim on an exclusive Fall 2013 collection, slated to hit Target stores on Sept. 15. The range will feature over 100 items for both men and women, including apparel, shoes, bags, and travel accessories — all priced between $20-$300. We can also expect the collection to be rooted in a classic autumnal palette, and collaboration line aside, the designer will stick to his signature modern, sophisticated aesthetic. Phillip Lim explained that he's been "intrigued by the idea of a design evolution" since an early age, and is excited at the prospect of creating a collection "that would inspire — one that is cool and chic, but still very accessible." Does that mean we'll see a Pashli look-alike?

In honor of the designer's big collaboration news, we've rounded up some of our favorite 3.1 Phillip Lim runway looks over the years — as well as Target's video sneak peek and your first look at Lim's sketches. Click through to see them all now, and don't forget to mark your calendars for Sept. 15!

Still on Top: Take a Look Back at Madonna's History of Trendsetting

Hold on to your (leather) hats: Madonna is being honored as the Top Touring Artist at next week's Billboard Music Awards in the States, thanks to the worldwide success of her recent MDNA tour.

Hold on to your (leather) hats: Madonna is being honored as the Top Touring Artist at next week's Billboard Music Awards in the States, thanks to the worldwide success of her recent MDNA tour.

The international superstar, clothing chameleon, and ultimate risk-taker has brought so much good to our lives — and single-handedly ushered in tons of trends since she hit the scene in the early '80s. From fingerless lace gloves to cone bras and stacks of rubber bracelets (the original arm party, in our opinion), Madonna has a long history of setting trends and paving the way for fashion freedom — and if her punk-inspired look from Monday's Met Gala is any indication, it doesn't look like she's stopping anytime soon. We're taking a look back at the many trends that Madonna set into motion — click through to see them all now.

Jennifer and Joan Do the Covered-Up Sexy Thing — but Who Got It Right?

Who knew full coverage could be so sexy?

Who knew full coverage could be so sexy? While some of last night's Met Gala attendees opted for microminis and dangerously low necklines, Jennifer Lopez and model Joan Smalls went a different route, both swapping short and sweet for sheer, long, and seriously rocker chic. Joan arrived on the arm of Tom Ford in a black lace gown from the designer's Fall 2013 collection — an ornate creation that left little to the imagination — which she accessorized with a single gold razor blade earring. Jennifer Lopez brought along not one, but two handsome escorts: her boyfriend, Casper Smart, as well as her designer date, Michael Kors. Jennifer's gown boasted a revealing back cutout and sequined giraffe print, and perfectly complemented her famous curves. It's clear that both Jennifer and Joan got the long-sleeved, sheer-gown memo — but which of them got it right?

How to Wear the Punk Trend

With the Met Gala paying homage to the Punk: Chaos to Couture exhibition, it's no wonder why we've got rock 'n' roll on the brain. Designers like Vivienne Westwood and Jean Paul Gaultier and big-time brands like Balmain and Givenchy all injected a punk-inspired spin into their Spring collections — and while the runway looks can get a little over the top (this is a show, after all), getting in on the trend yourself can be much easier than you think. We like to cull inspiration from the greats — punk pioneers like Debbie Harry, Sid Vicious, Siouxsie Sioux, and The Ramones, who all made superskinny jeans, ripped shirts, cutout dresses, and studded leather de rigueur. To celebrate Monday's big event, we've styled up three punk-inspired outfits that will have you looking like you're straight out of CBGB. Click through to see and shop them now.

Jessica Simpson Jets Off With Family as Fashion Star's Finale Approaches

Jessica Simpson arrived at the LAX airport today to catch a flight out of town and was joined by her fiancé, Eric Johnson, and their 1-year-old daughter, Maxwell.

Jessica Simpson arrived at the LAX airport today to catch a flight out of town and was joined by her fiancé, Eric Johnson, and their 1-year-old daughter, Maxwell. She showed off her baby bump in a loose-fitting dress and smiled for cameras as she and her family made their way into the terminal. Jessica has been staying busy on the West Coast, especially with big celebrations. She and Eric recently threw Maxwell a carnival-themed bash for her first birthday, which brought out stars like Jessica's sister, Ashlee, and her fellow mom-to-be pal CaCee Cobb.

In addition to hosting a sweet party for her little one, Jessica is also dishing out advice on NBC's Fashion Star. Her pep talks and design prowess will be put to the test as Jessica goes up against Nicole Richie's team in the show's finale, which airs May 10.

She's Shoots, She Scores! Miranda Kerr Brings Her A-Game For Vogue

It's safe to say that Miranda Kerr will always look flawless — even while playing sports.

It's safe to say that Miranda Kerr will always look flawless — even while playing sports. Miranda hit the basketball court for a Vogue photo shoot in NYC on Thursday to model pieces from Michael Kors, including a pair of shiny gold metallic shorts and platform sneakers. She took to Instagram earlier this week to share a photo from another recent shoot with the magazine, so it seems that Miranda is staying busy after announcing the end of her contract with Victoria's Secret.

Miranda is on the East Coast after spending quality time with her family in LA last week, including a trip to a childrens' gym with husband Orlando Bloom and their son, Flynn. While it hasn't been confirmed if Miranda will be attending Monday's Met Gala, her being in the Big Apple to work with Vogue could be a good hint that we'll see her on the red carpet.

Jennifer Lawrence and Her Ex Reunite For Dinner in a "Private Room"

Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult had dinner at The Little Door restaurant in LA on Monday night, stirring up rumors that they may be reuniting as a couple.

Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult had dinner at The Little Door restaurant in LA on Monday night, stirring up rumors that they may be reuniting as a couple. The former couple apparently had a spot in the well-known restaurant all to themselves; a source tells POPSUGAR Jennifer and Nicholas has "a private room all to themselves." Jennifer showed off her new short haircut and held on to a copy of Anna Karenina as the former flames made their way out of the back exit and drove off in her car together.

Jennifer and Nicholas met on the set of X-Men: First Class in 2010 and dated for two years before parting ways in January 2013. In spite of the breakup, Jennifer bounced back in a big way — she went on to become an award-season darling and a member of the A-list set while taking home an Oscar for her role in Silver Linings Playbook. While it hasn't been confirmed that Jennifer and Nicholas are linked up romantically, they are likely seeing a lot of each other on the set. The pair is currently filming X-Men: Days of Future Past along with Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry, and Anna Paquin, in addition to Jennifer's other big-screen projects. She spent time in Boston earlier this month while shooting American Hustle with Bradley Cooper and will gear up later this year to promote Catching Fire ahead of its November release.
