Is Rosie Huntington-Whiteley Headed For a Career Shift?

br>
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley may have made a name for herself on the runway, but if there's one thing the past two years have demonstrated, it's that the 26-year-old model, who has been working in the industry for a decade already, may be ready to shift from the catwalk to the silver screen. After appearing in Transformers: Dark of the Moon in 2011, the Victoria's Secret Angel is set to appear in Mad Max: Fury Road in 2014 — and that's not all the model-turned-actress and entrepreneur has in store for herself. As she divulged in the most recent issue of NET-A-PORTER's The Edit. See some of her best quotes from the
On her favorite color: "Red is my power color. I love red. I'm drawn to it. I feel great when I'm wearing it. It's a sexy, confident color. But it's got to be a deep, powerful shade."
On how being in Transformers: Dark of the Moon influenced her fashion: "The Transformers audience is quite…specific. They want to see you looking 'sexy.' It informed my clothing choices on the press tour. I tried to find a way of being sexy but subtle."
On her new tattoo: "It's a hummingbird by Scott Campbell, a tattoo artist who does a lot for Marc Jacobs...hummingbirds fly about my house in LA. There's a hideous bush that my gardener wants to cut down, but I won't let him because all the hummingbirds gravitate towards it. In the mornings, I can sit with a coffee and watch them."
On having her own line of lingerie: "The process, from understanding what people want, to seeing my products in stores is incredibly moving."
On her acting aspirations: "I'd love to do a period drama, or make a quintessentially British comedy."

How Taylor Swift Gives Peter Pan Collars a Cool-Girl Spin
Before hitting the Billboard Music Awards red carpet in blue sequins yesterday, Taylor Swift showed us how to look every bit as cool, all while maintaining a feminine flair. During a Beverly Hills shopping session with a friend, the singer tucked a printed top with an always-adorable Peter Pan collar into a burgundy pleated miniskirt. She then pulled in the perfect accessories: her favorite Mark Cross messenger bag, tan woven oxfords, and black Ray-Ban Wayfarers for an edgier finish. Next time you hit the retail circuit, reference Taylor's girlie-cum-cool creation and don't leave home without your favorite add-ons. To get similar pieces, shop our picks below.

Channeling Cannes: Black-and-White Glamour
When taking stock of the biggest red carpet moments at the Cannes Film Festival, the standouts are pretty black and white — quite literally. The style set ditched their rainbow hues in favor of chic two-toned gowns. Just look to Emma Watson in Chanel, Jennifer Lawrence in Dior, and Carey Mulligan in Vionnet for the proof — and evidence of just how chic the black-and-white palette looks on a variety of evening gowns.

Sure, the color scheme is particularly hot this season, but it's also a classic. So whether you're looking to be at the forefront of fashion or seeking something a little more timeless for your wardrobe, a great black-and-white gown is kind of like the win-win of both style camps. It's an elegant, seasonless look that's bound to get you noticed at your best friend's formal wedding this Summer or your cousin's black-tie nuptials this Fall — or years from now. Need another reason to invest? We've pulled 12. Shop our editors' picks to channel a little Cannes glamour for your next big event.
Miley Cyrus's New Sexy Signature Style: Black and White Jumpsuits
So far, 2013 has been a big fashion year for a certain Miley Cyrus. She's been photographed in Chanel, Valentino, and Balmain (pictured from left to right at a Ryan Seacrest event, the Maxim Hot 100 Party, and the Billboard Music Awards) and is well on her way to achieving that one thing every style icon has mastered: a signature look. She's recently skipped over the majority of the color spectrum, instead gravitating toward black and white accented with a third color by way of her red lips. It gets more specific, too: beyond loving the two-toned combo, Miley's showing a serious propensity for pantsuits rather than more common red carpet dresses.
The singer's image has progressively gotten sexier as she's moved past her Hannah Montana stage, and fashion-wise, her cropped 'do seemed to usher in a whole new era of envelope-pushing fashion. Whatever the case, we love that she's turned into a dresser to watch.

Which Dior-Clad Beauty Gets Your Best-Dressed Vote?
The dreamy clothes at the Christian Dior Resort 2014 show didn't stop at runway's end. The collection, which was presented in Monaco over the weekend, also played host to one very stylish front row. Jessica Biel chose this stunning Fall 2013 dress — a look that perfectly encapsulated ladylike glamour with its houndstooth-print bustier and draped black skirt. Meanwhile, Marion Cotillard chose a no-frills white pre-Fall 2013 leather trench coat, only to spice things up with a pair of neon cap-toe pumps. And Liv Tyler went with an all-black — and navy — approach in a Dior bustier. Now that you've got the fashion facts, who gets your best-dressed vote in the Dior showdown?

Who Wore What: Billboard Music Awards
The 2013 Billboard Music Awards red carpet was red hot, with Selena Gomez leading the pack. The singer was one of the first to arrive — and she did so in an eye-catching neon-infused Atelier Versace gown from the label's Spring '13 collection. Also in the mix? Jennifer Lopez, Taylor Swift, Chloë Moretz, Hayden Panettiere, and a very sexy Jennifer Morrison. Of course, that's just the tip of the iceberg. Billboard Music Awards: Madonna
On the heels of her Met Gala appearance, Madonna is at it again at the Billboard Music Awards. The (first) Queen of Pop received the top touring artist award, and while she may have skipped the red carpet, her Givenchy Haute Couture outfit was certainly worth the wait. Dressed in some recognizable pieces courtesy of the aforementioned Met Gala, Madonna took the stage in a black fishnet dress, topped with a texturized, cropped, and feather-collared bomber jacket. But the look didn't end there. She wore it all cinched with a grommet-embellished wide belt and finished with thigh-high stockings, which were fastened with a garter belt. As for the last bit of accessories? She also rocked her monogrammed padlock choker, statement sunglasses, and black platform pumps. Did she nail it?

Billboard Music Awards: Jennifer Lopez
Jennifer Lopez flaunted her figure in a Zuhair Murad gown that showed off her stems with sheer, embellished fabric and a neckline that plunged toward her navel. It was all about gold, too — the dress sparkled thanks to metallic scales, and the effect was finished with ankle-strap pumps and a clutch in the same hue. Do you like it all together?
