He is so great! He is one of the few stars who can so easily switch between the nasty bad guy, and the heart-stopping romantic. But whether he's pillaging or romancing, he is always a beloved character.

i loved him in love actually as well.

Alan is one of the actors that can get me to love and root for the bad guys in films, like in Robin Hood and also in Harry Potter...I luurrrve Snape and especially his voice, he has the sexiest voice in the business...

I enjoy mostly everything he has been in but I love, love, love him in Sense and Sensibility as Colonel Brandon. Wow. There are no words.

I also like hearing him say the word Small. I don't know why, but it is so prounounced and drawn out.. gives me the giggles lol.

Not only is Alan an amazing actor, he is devestatingly handsome and whether he is chasing Tom Selleck down in Quigley down under or being the perfect gentleman in sense and sensibility or teaching Occlumency I am riveted.

His speaking voice is very sexy in a creepy sort of way : )
