We waited patiently for two long weeks for the next installment of Project Runway. And, having seen the photos from New York Fashion Week, I was anxiously wondering what sort of crazy, unexpected plot twist could have possibly landed four finalists—not three, as planned—on the Bryant Park runways. So last Wednesday, I tuned in, on the edge of my couch, ready with baited breath to see the wild season shocker! How, oh how, could all four make it to the finals?
Oh, no reason, really. They all just deserved it.
I'm sorry, Project Runway, but that has got to be one of the lamest turns of events in reality show history. This is a contest! Since when do Heidi and Nina Garcia do things just to be nice?! In this case, I have to side with Jeffrey. To see why, read more
I'm a big fan of stylish sneakers. Even though I typically only get to wear them on the weekends, I think every fashionable gal should have at least two pairs of super-hip sneakers: one in earth tones, and one pair in black or gray. Lately, I've been noticing a lot of cute styles that combine teal and dark brown, which is a great palette for heading into fall. Here are some of my finds.
Title Nine Urban Sneaker, $89, available here.
Onitsuka Tiger by Asics Mexico 66 Sneaker, $83.95, available here.

If you're a caffeine addict like I am, you might as well carry your coffee in style. That's why I just can't get over this charming and cheeky Bodum Lipstick Travel Flask. Not only does this 34-ounce stainless-steel thermos look like a tube of lipstick, but the angled spout also makes it easy to pour your hot drinks without spilling. The rugged, double-walled carafe is also vacuum sealed to keep drinks fresh and hot for up to six hours. This would make a great gift for coffee lovers on the go, and it's available for a very affordable $29.95 here.
Here at FabSugar, we obviously have a weakness for anything with "sugar" in the name. So when I saw the cute cotton-candy packaging for Pink Sugar Eau de Toilette Spray, I simply had to try it. Not surprisingly, the vanilla-tinged scent is evocative of cotton candy, but in a way that's sweetly nostalgic, not sickly sweet. You can buy a 3.4-ounce bottle for $50 here.
The scent also comes in the form of a Pink Sugar Roll-On Perfume, available for $18 here. Not only will it give your skin a playful shimmer, but it comes in a no-spill plastic bottle that's great for travel.
One of my favorite things about dropping temperatures is getting to break out all of my cozy knit scarves. Really, when it comes to cold-weather essentials, it's hard to get more fashionable than a scarf. They really do keep you warm, and they're great for layering indoors, too. Because scarves are worn so close to the face and are always in style, I think it's worth investing in a really nice one made from cashmere or another luxurious fabric. Here are some of my picks.
Catherine Malandrino Pom Pom Scarf, $325, available here.
Burberry Camel Plaid Cashmere Fringe Scarf, $200, available here.
Meg Cohen Polka Dot Cashmere Scarf, $185, available here.
Coach Legacy Stripe Muffler, $198, available here.

Renowned plastic surgeon Dr. Cap Lesesne wrote the book on plastic surgery—that is, the insider's guide called Confessions of a Park Avenue Plastic Surgeon, which helps patients navigate the process. But if you fear going under the knife, Lesesne has also created a skincare line, called ICS Skin Therapie. What makes his skincare line different is the potency of the ingredients; it uses the maximum allowed strength of peptides—which reduce wrinkles by relieving muscle contractors—allowed by the FDA.
ICS products are designed to even out the skin tone and irregular pigmentation, thanks to a unique crystal formula. Its best selling product is ICS Skin Therapie Facial Day Therapie SPF 20, which you smooth on your face and neck after cleansing in the morning. Buy a 1.7-ounce bottle here for $195.
