Mischa Barton can't get enough of her new Zac Posen Alexia Bag—seriously, every time the girl has been photographed lately, she's been carrying this bag. But can you blame her? The giant frame bag really is fabulous, from the sturdy strap to the cool hexagonal closure and the edgy chain accent. You can buy it for $1,250 here.

In fact, if the OC girls are any indication, it seems that Posen may have achieved "It Bag" status. Mischa isn't the only young starlet who's been seen toting one of his designs. To see who else loves Posen handbags, read more

Brooks

An Eco-Friendly Running Shoe

All of you joggers out there probably know that Brooks makes some of the best running shoes around.

All of you joggers out there probably know that Brooks makes some of the best running shoes around. What you may not know is that the company now makes enviro-friendly sneakers, too. The new Brooks Cascadia 2 running shoe is made from so-called "green rubber," which uses silicon rather than petroleum for a more environmentally friendly product. Petroleum-based rubbers not only use up fossil fuels but are also rumored to release carcinogenic dioxins during production.

Designed in part by vegan marathoner Scott Jurek, the Cascadia 2 shoe lets you go trail running guilt-free. And though running shoes aren't typically valued for their style, I think these are kind of cool looking—you know, for a running shoe. You can buy the Cascadia for $95 here.

Paris Fashion Week

Paris Fashion Week: Hussein Chalayan

Hussein Chalayan is a designer to watch, and not just because his runway show featured self-undressing clothes.

Hussein Chalayan is a designer to watch, and not just because his runway show featured self-undressing clothes. Yes, you heard me right: The Spring 2007 show from this Turkish-Cypriot designer at Paris Fashion Week featured apparel that opened and fell away on its own, leaving models standing on the runways in the buff. It was a technical marvel created by a special effects team who worked on Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.

But amazingly, this parade of bells, whistles, and nudity didn't upstage the rest of Chalayan's collection. The clothes were a futuristic frenzy of foil-like fabrics, saucer-rimmed hats, and dresses constructed out of bubbles and beading. But between all the sci-fi were many wearable and stylish looks, including A-line dresses with sheer overlays in stunning color combinations. To see the collection, read more

Jessica Simpson

Jessica's Motorcycle Jacket

Bomber-style jackets are super hot for Fall 2006, and I love this luxurious black satin one that the black-clothes-obsessed Jessica Simpson was wearing on her way to the Today Show yesterday.

Bomber-style jackets are super hot for Fall 2006, and I love this luxurious black satin one that the black-clothes-obsessed Jessica Simpson was wearing on her way to the Today Show yesterday. Admittedly, Jessica is looking a little bit scary these days, but she's just as fashion-forward as always.

Like Jess's motorcycle-tinged look? Turns out, her coat is actually the Dior Destiny Jacket with Rabbit Fur, which you can buy here. This style is a great girly take on the traditional bomber-style motorcycle jacket, with a detachable rabbit fur collar, a wide waistband, and all sorts of zippers, buttons, and flaps. It costs a cool $1,990.

Little Twists on the Little Black Dress

If there's one clothing essential that's always in style, it is the little black dress.

InstantPeel

A Mini-Facial in an Instant

InstantPeel by Earthen is a natural dead-skin exfoliant that shows instant results—a perfect option for anyone afraid of chemical peels.

InstantPeel by Earthen is a natural dead-skin exfoliant that shows instant results—a perfect option for anyone afraid of chemical peels. Essentially, it is akin to a super-gentle spa quality facial that you can do at home in seven minutes.

This peel wipes away all of the dead skin cells, sebum (the gross stuff in your pores that causes pimples), and impurities your face, resulting in improved skin texture, elasticity, and firmness. Your skin is left feeling baby soft and looking radiant! Once you've tried it, you'll be addicted.

Thankfully, the box comes with six single-use packets. People with oily or normal skin should use one packet every other week, while those with dry skin should do the peel every three weeks. It's safe for all types of skin and works within a few seconds after you apply it. Now that's instant gratification! Buy a box here for $50. (It's already completely sold out of Bliss stores!)
