The Katie Holmes-Tom Cruise nuptials are just days away, which makes me wonder if Katie will stock her guests' rooms with some great products from her famous hairdresser,Oscar Blandi. This La Jasminetta Jasmine Travel Set would be an especially great choice, with a trio of products that enhance your hair's shine with jasmine extracts to provide an unusually calming aroma.

Each of the 2-ounce products contained in the travel kit have different functions. The Shampoo di Jasmine cleanses and smooths out frizzy, coarse hair using Vitamin E to tame the hair shaft. Two of girls' best friends—in this case, chocolate and fashion—collided at the 9th Annual Chocolate Show, held last Thursday in New York City. Some of the designs were absolutely gorgeous, like the Willy Wonka-inspired masterpiece and vampiric design above. Others, meanwhile, were totally gross—notably, the model with strips of chocolate running down her legs. For the fashion portion of this choco-centric event, top pastry and confection chefs worked with fashion designers, including Rebecca Taylor, Abaete, and Heatherette, to create the over-the-top and edible clothes. In college it's always tempting to roll out of bed and throw on some sweatpants before class. But I really appreciate the coeds who go for more old-school look. Take this ensemble from Klax722, who decided to don duds from J. Crew and Burberry for a long day of Fall classes in Boston. I love the way the white dress shirts peeks out from the layers of sweater, blazer, and classic plaid scarf. Brittany Murphy can be somewhat hit or miss when it comes to fashion, but she was a perfect 10 at the premier of her new animated movie, Happy Feet. She looks both stunning and sweet in her Carolina Herrera Jeweled Dress, which costs $3,990 and is available at Saks Fifth Avenue stores. I've always avoided the small leather goods known as wristlets because of the somewhat silly name. But I finally road-tested (or, should I say, club-tested) one of these wallets-plus-wrist-strap during my Friday night out with the girls.
