Locket Cuff Links

Charismatic Cuff Links

These stunning Silver Locket Cuff Links by Charles Tyrwhitt are something that you and your man can share.

These stunning Silver Locket Cuff Links by Charles Tyrwhitt are something that you and your man can share. Guys can wear them as a manly alternative to a locket, while the ladies can use them as a fun accent to a French cuff shirt. After all, the best thing about these cuff links isn't their chic silver finish or edgy geometric shape, but the fact that they double as lockets that store changeable photos inside! Talk about a conversation piece; these accessories are worth a thousand words. Buy them here for about $92.

The Look For Less: Peter Som Bow-Front Top

I absolutely love Peter Som's sophisticated black-and-white palettes and playful party dresses.

I absolutely love Peter Som's sophisticated black-and-white palettes and playful party dresses. Along the same lines is this Peter Som Crinkle Silk Chiffon Bow Front Top, which looks like it would be a great option for holiday parties. The chic sleeveless blouse has a big velvet bow and criss-cross straps in the back. There's only one small problem: It costs $1,000 here, which seems like a lot to pay for a shirt. That's why I was delighted to find a top that creates a similar effect for $960 less. To see what it is, read more

Breath-Freshening Lip Glosses

Who would have thought that cosmetics could help your coffee breath?

Who would have thought that cosmetics could help your coffee breath? Yes, it's true. I already know and love C.O. Bigelow's Mentha Lip Shine, but now there are even more breath-freshening lip glosses on the market. For a fresh, minty sensation, just apply and inhale these glosses to conquer bad breath. Don't think that means you can skip the tooth-brushing, though; they haven't come up with a cavity-fighting lip gloss just yet. Here are some of my freshening finds.

Sugar Cosmetics Freshen Up Trio is a set of three sheer, breath-freshening mini lip glosses. The flavors include a clear, shimmery Peppermint, the sheer red Cinnamon, and my personal fave, a two-tone iridescent Wintergreen flavor. They are super shiny and tiny, so you can stash one in your purse, one in your desk, and one by the bed. Buy the set here for $28.

Bliss Breath-Freshening Lip Balm is more of a balm than a gloss. It has a crisp and cool feeling that softens with Vitamins E and A, aloe vera, and mint oil to really give you that confidence kicker. Buy it here for $14.

Wal-Mart

Wal-Mart Gets Organic Beauty

A lot has been made lately of Wal-Mart's efforts to go green.

A lot has been made lately of Wal-Mart's efforts to go green. That environmental push is even expanding to its beauty merchandise, namely the Noah's Naturals brand, which features three different lines of natural products. The organic It’s All Good line includes rosemary and mint-infused hair and body products; Honest to Goodness includes face, skin, and bath formulas; and Heal Thyself focuses on aromatherapy. The very affordable goods have a high-end feel and are available in Wal-Mart stores nationwide, and online on the Noah's Naturals site. Here are some of my picks from the line.

Heal Thyself Energizing Clementine Ginger Shower Gel, $7.68, available here.

It's All Good Sea Salt Soak With Lavender, $14.43, available here.

Topshop Jeans Make Their U.S. Debut

Ever since I first set foot in Topshop's London flagship store, I've been dreaming of the day the retailer opens in the United States.

Ever since I first set foot in Topshop's London flagship store, I've been dreaming of the day the retailer opens in the United States. That day is still a long way off, but here's the good news: We can now buy Topshop jeans on American shores!

If you're not familiar with Topshop, you should check out the retailer's amazing Oxford Circus flagship the first chance you get. It's almost worth the price of a ticket to London to get the trendy, funky, and affordable fashions and accessories. The store helped launch the skinny-jeans trend last Fall, and it recently hired uber-hip Kate Moss to design an exclusive collection. It's fitting, then, that the first Topshop items to arrive in the U.S. are its skinny jeans. Barney's Co-Op, which has one of the largest and most organized denim departments around, is now stocking Topshop jeans. You can buy the dark-blue Topshop Stretch Skinny Jeans here for $110.

Fab Site: Mint Gems

If you like the idea of customized jewelry but don't have time to make your own, check out the sweet little site called Mint Gems.

If you like the idea of customized jewelry but don't have time to make your own, check out the sweet little site called Mint Gems. The site offers dozens of great styles of earrings, bracelets, and necklaces, which are cute on their own but also come with a cool twist. For each style, you can select your choice of metal—either sterling silver or 14-karat gold—and choose from a variety of different crystals and stones. In some cases, you can also choose the length and the clasp. Better yet, Mint Gems is offering up to 60 percent off of some items until Nov. 15, so this stuff is really a great deal. Here are some of my favorite looks.

Falling Leaf Earrings, $86.80 reduced from $124, available with a choice of 18 stones and two metals here.

Berry Drop Necklace, $70.40 reduced from $88, available with a choice of 18 stones here.

Love It or Hate It

Marc by Marc Jacobs Colorblock Coat: Love It or Hate It?

This simple but bold Marc by Marc Jacobs Colorblock Solid Wool Twill Coat combines classic sophistication with some mod-tinged edge.

This simple but bold Marc by Marc Jacobs Colorblock Solid Wool Twill Coat combines classic sophistication with some mod-tinged edge. The swingy shape is constructed out of simple black-and-white wool with big, playful buttons, and the scarf at the neck can be worn vertically across the front or wrapped around the neck for added warmth. Though I gave MJ a hard time for his rain boots on Tuesday, I really love this look. What do you guys think? Love it or hate it? If you want it as your winter coat, it's available for $568 here.
