If you've been reading FabSugar, you know that I'm always on the hunt for great laptop bags and big purses that can accomodate my computer. Thankfully, any giant handbag can double as a laptop bag with a stylish laptop sleeve, which will keep your computer from getting dirty or jostled if you're carrying it around in your purse or other bags. Here are some of my favorite super-stylin' sleeves.

Look of the Day: Polished at the Polls

I hope you're all planning to get out and vote today if you haven't already!

I hope you're all planning to get out and vote today if you haven't already! Though I'm heading to the polls later, I didn't even consider putting together an extra-special Election Day outfit this morning. However, user Mmmmmm did, which earns her my respect and the honor of today's TeamSugar Look Book Look of the Day. (To learn how to upload your own looks, click here.) Here's what she put together.

  • Suit Jacket: H Hilfiger
  • Suit Skirt: H Hilfiger
  • Top: H Hilfiger Long Sleeve Modal Tee
  • Shoes: BCBGirls ("I had to wear more BCBGs today because I got so happy about them yesterday.")

Fab Site: Trunkt

The name may not be easy to pronounce, but it won't be hard to find something that tickles your fancy at the online boutique Trunkt.

The name may not be easy to pronounce, but it won't be hard to find something that tickles your fancy at the online boutique Trunkt. Using the old-fashioned "trunk show" concept as inspiration, the site provides a one-stop shop for high-end goods made by small, independent designers and artists from around the world. The web site, as well as Trunkt's showroom in New York's Tribeca neighborhood, is a great place to buy unique gifts that you aren't likely to find anywhere else. There's really an astounding amount of stuff here—including jewelry, bath products, home goods, and baby gifts—but here are some of my favorite finds.

Good on Paper Birthday Book, $6, available here.

Steel Couture Marlene Cuff, $50, available here.

Khushi Solid Body Butter, $14, available here.

Fab Finding Follow-Up: Very Casual Friday

I don't know about you, but I often like to start my weekend early with a fun night out on Thursday—perhaps with a happy hour or a long, wine-drinking dinner.

I don't know about you, but I often like to start my weekend early with a fun night out on Thursday—perhaps with a happy hour or a long, wine-drinking dinner. That means that come Friday morning, I tend to go for the very casual in my work attire. So on Friday, I asked you guys to come Fab Finding with me to put together a very casual Friday look, including this Anthropologie Cutaway Cardigan, available here for $68. (To learn what a Fab Find is and how to make one, click here.) Your Fab Finds met the requirements perfectly: They'd be comfortable but also would look as if I made some semblance of an effort to look nice. Here are some of my looks from TeamSugar's Fab Finders.

Look #1, found by ShoeS, who was smart enough to include a cup of coffee with her cute Donna Karan sailor pants.

FabSugar Goes Inside Sephora

All little girls have dreams.

All little girls have dreams. Mine was to become a Broadway dancer, until I realized at age 14 that my inability to even do a split would probably prevent that dream from ever coming true. Since then, the only other job I've been dreaming about is to become a beauty writer, and if that hadn't happened, the only thing I can imagine that might be better is working at that mecca of makeup, Sephora.

Last week I had the distinct pleasure of meeting with several of Sephora's writers, as well as the fragrance, skincare, and color merchants (a.k.a., buyers) at the company's U.S. headquarters in San Francisco. And let me tell you, I was like a kid in a candy store. To hear all about my insider's look at Sephora, read more

Love It or Hate It

Sergio Rossi Kimono Embroidered Boots: Love It or Hate It?

Tall boots are incredibly hot, and this pair of Sergio Rossi Kimono Embroidered Boots combines two of Fall's biggest tall-boot trends: flat heels and embellished leather styles.

Tall boots are incredibly hot, and this pair of Sergio Rossi Kimono Embroidered Boots combines two of Fall's biggest tall-boot trends: flat heels and embellished leather styles. These wild and rich boots would definitely stand out in a crowd, with their metallic bronze leather and bold fish embroidery. I particularly like the jeweled buttons that run up and down the sides, though thankfully, the boots actually zip up. But the whole goldfish motif is a little odd, so I can see how they might be a bit off-putting to some people. You can buy the boots for $1,875 here, but tell me whether you love them or hate them below!

Idiot-Proof Eye Makeup

I love eye makeup, but I am sort of a klutz when it comes to applying it, and judging from the comments on this site, I think many FabSugar readers feel the same way.

I love eye makeup, but I am sort of a klutz when it comes to applying it, and judging from the comments on this site, I think many FabSugar readers feel the same way. That's why I've been delighted by all of the idiot-proof eye makeup on the market lately. Here's a look at the easy-to-use, no-fail eye makeup you should have in your arsenal.

ROLL-ON EYE SHADOW

Sue Devitt E-Z Rollerball Eye Shadow, $18, available in 11 different colors here. These shadows take a page from roll-on lip gloss or deodorant, so you can roll right onto your lids. No brush required.

EYE-SHADOW PRIMER
Bobbi Brown Cream Shadow Stick, $20, available here. Apply this foundation before putting on your other eye makeup, and it creates a dry, matte surface that makes eye shadow go on smoothly and stay put without the ugly creases.
