Fab Finding Follow Up: Outfit for The Nutcracker

Holiday greetings on Christmas eve!

Holiday greetings on Christmas eve! As I mentioned last week, I went to the festive ballet The Nutcracker and asked you all to go Fab Finding for a comfortable day-to-night look. I found these Alvin Valley Tux Pants, $297, and asked your help in finding a festive top, comfortable shoes, a medium-sized handbag (to fit my makeup bag in), and a fun coat. How was the show? Beautiful! Totally put me in the holiday mood. Let's see what you all put together!

Forget Juicy Couture, It's All About Tutu Couture

In case you haven't heard the latest brewing ground for the next crop of fashion designers is not Saint Martins or F.I.T., it is New York toy store FAO Schwartz.

In case you haven't heard the latest brewing ground for the next crop of fashion designers is not Saint Martins or F.I.T., it is New York toy store FAO Schwartz. I'm not kidding. Did you see my earlier post about FAO's Fashion Show Party? While a $25,000 fashion design party is a twelve-year-old girl's dream come true, what about the privileged six-year-old princess? FAO has them covered too.

Tutu Couture by FAO Schwartz is a special online boutique where you can design your very own Tutu, and the seamstresses at Tutu Couture will hand-make it for you. You can choose from different Tutu lengths and colors, and add adornments such as rhinestones, pom poms and flowers. The handmade Tutu is delivered in four weeks and prices range from $55-$95. Any recipient of one of these sure is a lucky little ballerina!

Agatha Ruiz de la Prada Christmas Tree Dress: Love It or Hate It?

Before you hit 'Hate It,' hear me out.

Before you hit 'Hate It,' hear me out. This Agatha Ruiz de la Prada Christmas Tree Dress, $250, has a Christmas story. Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, the Spanish fashion and lifestyle designer, launched a special online collection for YOOX. The designer created five one-of-a-kind dresses that will each be accompanied by the original sketch signed by the designer. This Christmas Tree Dress will be sold to benefit Greenpeace, a charity the designer and YOOX both support. Other pieces in the online selection include toys, shoes, knitwear, jewelry and other great gifts for women, and even one’s home. Found by WhiplashGirlchild in the Love It or Hate It? group, what do you all think? Love it of hate it?
