The End-All Be-All Hairdryer

Would you spend $200 for a hairdryer?

Would you spend $200 for a hairdryer? Well if it takes you an hour to dry your hair and you could cut this time in half, you might consider it right? After all, time is money! This Tourmaline Professional Ionic Hair Dryer is so popular with people in the know that most stores can't keep it in stock.

Not only does this cut drying time in half, it also actually makes your hair healthier vs. traditional dryers that are not so good for your tresses. Sounds to good to be true, right?

According to the Sephora website:

Infused with 100 percent tourmaline jewels (the world's most potent ionic mineral), T3 Tourmaline II Ionic Hair Dryer delivers maximum negative ions and infrared heat. This means lightning fast drying and healthier, shinier, deeply moisturized hair. An entirely new approach to blow drying, the T3 guarantees frizz-free results every time.

    Other benefits include:

  • Breaks down water for deep moisture penetration
  • Smoothes hair surface for silky-smooth shine
  • Eliminates static
  • Delivers heat gently to the hair shaft, drying the hair from the inside out
  • Closes the cuticle layer to protect the hair

One thing to note is that it only works in North America and is not recommended to be used abroad, so sorry to all of our international friends!

Another Cool Product: Under Eye Brightener

I think I definitely need this stuff.

I think I definitely need this stuff. It's called Photo Op Under Eye Brightener from Smashbox.

According to the Smashbox website:

Photo shoots often start at the crack of dawn when even models and celebs don’t look their best and dark circles loom. That’s why we created this innovative under eye brightener that immediately wakens and brightens skin while adding moisture to prepare for concealer application. Contains lots of skin-boosting ingredients too, like Vitamin C, red wine extract, peptides and marine collagen, to help fill in those nasty little wrinkles.

Sounds too good to be true, but I am definitely willing to give it a try! Buy it here for $18.

Trend Alert: Vests

Vests are hot right now and this is one trend that will carry you through all of the seasons.

Vests are hot right now and this is one trend that will carry you through all of the seasons. Wear them long or short, bare or with a tee, tank or long sleeve top underneath. I love the look of a vest. They are easy to dress up (pair them with a skirt or basic pants) or be funky and accessorize your vest with a pair of low cut jeans and a long necklace. Here are a few that I've got my eye on:

Ya Ya's Double Breasted Denim Vest is adorable. It's cropped and funky. I especially like the big gold buttons (how cute would it be with gold ballet flats?) You can buy it here for $184.80.

Or there's this Joe Bush Vintage Tan and Brown Canvas Plaid Vest that Mischa wore on The O.C. It's on sale for $80 and you can buy it here. Oh, it's not really vintage it's actually new but the fabric is made from vintage men's pants. It's what makes them unique.

Color Stains Make Me Happy

Although at first I was hesitant, because they looked kind of messy, I am completely in love with Cheek and Lip Stains.

Although at first I was hesitant, because they looked kind of messy, I am completely in love with Cheek and Lip Stains. They are so sheer and natural looking, you almost don't need any other makeup. Great for Summer and Early Fall!

Here are a couple of my favorites:

Benetint Cheek and Lip Flush - Celebrating thirty years of fame, this is the creme of the crop and one of the originals. It's available for $28, here

The Balm Stainiac - I like this one because of the lipgloss-like applicator. It also comes in three different colors, which is nice. Available for $14, here

A Tale of Two Shoes

I have been in love with these KORS Michael Kors"Lyric" slingbacks ever since I

I have been in love with these KORS Michael Kors"Lyric" slingbacks ever since I posted them a couple of weeks ago. They are $220, Available here.

I ordered them right away and they finally came last week, BUT they sent me the wrong color! I was so disappointed because not only was I looking forward to wearing them right away, but also it's always such a pain to send things back. So I went to the store to try to exchange them. Of course the store did not even carry the shoes, so I just had to return them.

As I was preparing to re-order them, I came across these other shoes that I might like even better. They are called "Harness" and they are from MICHAEL Michael Kors, which is the lower-end brand for $138.95, Available here.

So I need you to help me decide, Lyric, Harness or neither?
