Jewelry Designer Spotlight: Me & Ro

There's something so girly and romantic about this silver charm necklace that Scarlett Johansson wore for her photo shoot in the October issue of InStyle. The pretty heart-shaped pendants and sterling-silver chains are from New York-based jeweler Me & Ro, which makes fine but youthful jewelry for girls who don't like a lot of bling.

The piece Scarlett is wearing is the Silver Flowers & ‘Beloved’ Double Hearts Necklace, which features two sterling-silver heart pendants, one of which is engraved with the Chinese symbols for "beloved." You can buy it for $190 here. Here's a look at some of Me&Ro's other great designs.

Love It or Hate It

Miss Sixty Yvette Sweater: Love It or Hate It?

While searching high and low for the latest and greatest slouchy sweaters, I happened upon this coat of many colors, the Miss Sixty Yvette Sweater, available for $159 here.

While searching high and low for the latest and greatest slouchy sweaters, I happened upon this coat of many colors, the Miss Sixty Yvette Sweater, available for $159 here. This oversize cowl-neck sweater is at once eye-catching and intimidating, but it sure looks warm, and I like the low-waisted belt. Tell me, do you love it or hate it? Trend Alert: Sleek, Slouchy Sweaters

Sweater styles stay relatively steady throughout the years, but there's one notable trend showing up everywhere this fall: slouchy, sleek sweaters.

Sweater styles stay relatively steady throughout the years, but there's one notable trend showing up everywhere this fall: slouchy, sleek sweaters. With wide shoulders and deep v-necks, plus dolman, batwing, and kimono sleeves, these versatile knits strike a clever balance between dressed down and dressy. Here's a look at six of my favorite slouchy-chic sweaters at both designer and non-designer prices.

A Soothing Skincare Regimen

Since growing out of my break-out phase (for the most part), I haven't really been sure how I should be caring for my skin.

Since growing out of my break-out phase (for the most part), I haven't really been sure how I should be caring for my skin. If you're in the same boat, a good place to start is with Rodan + Fields specialized skin-care regimens. Started by dermatologists Katie Rodan and Kathy Fields—famous for their acne-fighting Proactiv brand—Rodan + Fields offers four regimens for different skin concerns, including Anti-Age, Reverse, Unblemish, and Soothe, which is the first one I decided to try.

I'm usually skeptical of these types of three-step regimens—like, how different can a special "soothing" moisturizer be from a normal moisturizer? But I have to say, I was really impressed with this set, which is designed to treat sensitive, irritated skin and facial redness. The package includes a soothing facial cleanser, a face cream, an SPF 15 sunscreen, and a hydrocortisone lotion to use as needed. To learn how Rodan + Fields won me over, read more
