Spring Peek: Bloomers

Today a Sugar girl received a beautiful bouquet of orange roses with red berries and Stargazer lilies.

Today a Sugar girl received a beautiful bouquet of orange roses with red berries and Stargazer lilies. They inspired me to deliver you this Spring Peek showing you all the big bloomers that graced the runways. Rosettes, big flower prints and fabric corsages popped on garments adding volume and sweetness. Bloomers even showed up as show garnish: Yves Saint Laurent had thousands of violets sewn onto the floor of his runway - tripping up the models, literally. This Spring, say it with flowers. I think Alexander McQueen, shown here, screamed it with flowers!

Here is another color-inspired Fab Finding follow up!

Here is another color-inspired Fab Finding follow up! As you all know, I just loved the color matching story in this month's Lucky magazine and I'm curious to see what tomato red & dark brown outfits you all put together. I started you off with this Wek1933 Medium Weave Dark Brown Bag, $770.

Let's see what you all came up with. And, there were lots of great outfits put together but don't forget to follow my guidelines ladies! You can add any extras you want but I asked for separates, shoes and a scarf or hat to complete this look. Check out all of the tomato brown finds here. Look of the Day

Look of The Day: Funkadelic Shades

Sunglasses are so much fun.

Sunglasses are so much fun. I remember when I went through my Elvis phase in high school and upon a trip to Vegas bought a pair of the classic, gold metallic shades - the ones with the holes on the sides - you know which ones I'm talking about! I did sport them for a while and then I think they were broken when a stupid boy stole them at a kegger. Ah, memories. Well here are some fun funkadelic shades that were posted by Smarie. She is today's Look Book Look of the Day!

And I love the faint purple shading in the glasses with her pretty pink lips and vibrant scarf! She didn't list what the items were so it remains a mystery. Do tell Smarie! I'm guessing the funkadelic shades are vintage.

Congrats to Smarie!

Everyone else, submit your looks today and I just might feature you on FabSugar! Do you live overseas and have fab outfits to share? Join the Overseas Fashionistas Group and to submit a Look in this group learn how to post a blog.

Beauty Spring Peek: The Chic Sleek Ponytail

The chic, sleek ponytail is back!

The chic, sleek ponytail is back! Thank goodness...for once there is an easy style out there for the days when we need just a little extra sleep! These ponytails are low maintenance. They are a classic and beautiful way to pull off a polished look as well as a great way to secure your hair if you want it off of your face and neck.

Pony's also focus attention to your cheekbones. It's a little trick that expert hairstylists have been using for years to make women look refreshed and awake...sort of like you've just gotten a face lift! Calvin Klein is also an advocate of the ponytail. Here is a look from his Spring show. Check out the rest of my Spring Peeks if you like what you see here.

Twinkle Peace & Love Baby Doll Dress: Love It or Hate It?

I know there are mixed feelings out there about baby doll dresses so I thought this Twinkle Peace & Love Baby Doll Print Dress, found by arianell in the Love It or Hate It?

I know there are mixed feelings out there about baby doll dresses so I thought this Twinkle Peace & Love Baby Doll Print Dress, found by arianell in the Love It or Hate It? group would be interesting to feature. Arianell says she likes the colors but isn't sure about the retro design. I'm the opposite: I like the retro design but not so sure about the colors. What do you all think? Love or hate?

Shoes, Shoes And More Shoes!

Want to know what the hottest, bestselling shoes are right now?

Want to know what the hottest, bestselling shoes are right now? I thought this spread in this week's Life & Style was a colorful, super yummy shoe story. We all know Glam-o-Rama Gal Christina Aguilera loves her Christian Louboutins so check out which other shoes are strutting off the shelves. What I love about this is there is something for every taste so take your pick! I happen to be on a shoe binge right now - I bought three new pairs last weekend. I was happy to see one of them on here: the zebra print ones from Nine West, though I got them in leopard print.

Trend Alert

Trend Alert: Fabric Infused Jewelry

I was prompted to show you this trend after my Celebrity Style: Nicole Richie this week.

I was prompted to show you this trend after my Celebrity Style: Nicole Richie this week. As you can see she is wearing clusters of bracelets, or necklaces worn as bracelets, which seem to swallow her frail wrists. I found some other cool fabric infused jewelry I thought you'd enjoy. Unlike Nicole's style, I would wear these one at a time, to show off their uniqueness. Some are necklaces which double as wraparound bracelets and some are simple bracelets with a cool contrast of soft fabrics with hard metals. These are for those gals who like charm jewelry with an edge. Enjoy!

Kidada for Disney Couture Princess Wrap Bracelet, on sale for $250 (from $295). 14k yellow gold plate base metal; charms include Snow White apples, Cinderella slippers, Jasmine Alladin lamps, Sleeping Beauty bows, Beauty & the Beast roses, Ariel shells, and Pocahontas feathers.

I. Ronni Kappos Multi-Charm Bracelet, $100. A rich array of rainbow toned vintage glass bead charms dangle from a rich brown silk thread bracelet. Each bead is saturated with color in a process developed in the early 20th century. This bracelet adjusts by sliding a flat circular bead to the desired size.

Mizuki Tiny Diamond Heart on Woven Leather Bracelet, $335. 7 1/2" woven leather bracelet has a tiny yellow gold heart with teensy sparkling diamonds and a knot button closure.
