Denim

Fab Site: ChipandPepper.com

Chip & Pepper, a favorite denim brand, is also a hard-to-find denim brand - but not any more!

Chip & Pepper, a favorite denim brand, is also a hard-to-find denim brand - but not any more! Twin brothers Chip & Pepper Foster have been waiting to launch an e-commerce site for when the timing was right. While Chip & Pepper is available at sites such as Shopbop.com and NeimanMarcus.com, the Chip & Pepper site showcases the brand's entire offering. The full line is available to browse - women's and men's jeans and sportswear - and the signature denim collections and separates are sorted by style. The lesser-known University collection is sold here too; here customers can order a Notre Dame hoodie or Dartmouth T-shirt.

There is also a 'Lifestyle' section that highlights special events and the twin designer's biographies. The site is easy to browse and easy to shop, so Chip & Pepper's timing was just right. Here are some of my picks from the new site:

Beauty Mark It!

Beauty Marked! A Subtle Fruity Shower Gel

Last week I told you gals about how I have gradually become sensitive to overly fruity smelling shower gels.

Last week I told you gals about how I have gradually become sensitive to overly fruity smelling shower gels. I love an aromatic shower gel and getting all sudsy and clean but I got tired of my last shower gel because it was just too potent. I need a shower gel containing a singular scent, but I like a thick texture. I'm curious to try what you all recommend with this Beauty Mark It!! To see all the finds click here .

Beauty Mark #1, found by crispet1, is this L'OCCITANE Green Tea Body and Hair Shower Gel. This non-drying foaming lather cleanses body and hair in one step. Infused with a unique and fresh Green Tea fragrance and quinine bark extract to rebalance and revitalize - sounds good to me!

Spring Peek: Acrylic Accents

Spring is in the air!

Spring is in the air! Well, not quite, but it's in the pages of all the recent fashion mags. Check out my upcoming Spring Peeks for the fab new Spring 2007 trends that are just around the corner. I lightly wrote about Spring Trends after fashion week ended back in September and there is no denying Spring fashion is close. So get ready girls!

Spring Peek: Acrylic Accents

This transparent material was one of the key players in the dominant futuristic trend on the Spring runways. If full-fledged Barbarella-inspired outfits aren't your style, you can play with this trend via acrylic accents.

PHYTO Phytoneutre Rebalancing Cream Shampoo

If your are taking this week to wipe the slate clean, then what better place to start then with the top of your head!

If your are taking this week to wipe the slate clean, then what better place to start then with the top of your head! Cleanse away all of that 2006 shampoo and product buildup with just one wash of PHYTO Phytoneutre Rebalancing Cream Shampoo, $20.

This shampoo is formulated to deeply cleanse, balance and neutralize both your hair and scalp. It has been specially created to remove all of the impurities and grimy residue that's been left there from: pollutants, over shampooing and the use of daily styling products.

Since it is made from extremely gentle and natural ingredients such as coconut oil derivatives, extracts of ferula, chamomile and sage, St. Johns wort, eucalyptus and witch hazel, it will in no way change the composition of your delicate hair.

It is also mild enough to use daily and is perfectly safe for use on hair that is color or chemically treated. Simply shampoo twice and leave it on two-five minutes in the second round. Lastly, rinse and style as usual. Enjoy the newness of your clean product-free locks!

Oh, and btw, I think your pose is absolutely fabulous Ms. Isabella Welling!

Here's what she put together:

Matthew Williamson Eau de Parfum

Anyone else a fan of electric colors, flowing silhouettes and Miami heat?

Anyone else a fan of electric colors, flowing silhouettes and Miami heat? If yes, you must also adore British designer Matthew Williamson. Here is a fragrance with a heady, sun-kissed feel, wrapped in the exotic lushness of faraway lands. This scent is a potent mix of jasmine, gardenia, vanilla and sandalwood. A fragrance that embodies the true essence of the designer himself—sexy, feminine and uplifting. The bottle plays on the contrast between urban and exotic realms, fusing vintage with modern designs. The Matthew Williamson Eau de Parfum Spray is $68 for 1.7 oz, and also available in a luxurious body cream and sensual bath oil.

Trend Alert: Stud Earrings

Stud earrings are a perennial jewelry item.

Stud earrings are a perennial jewelry item. I love this look sometimes - more subtle, more romantic, more delicate. Cute, fun studs have become increasingly popular. These provide a nice alternative to charm earrings or hoops and these little lovelies have big personalities. Here are my designer and non-designer picks:

Reinstein / Ross 18 Karat White Gold With Seven Diamonds Snowdrop Earrings, $1,350. Available in yellow gold as well.

Carrie Weston 14 Karat Yellow Gold Diamond Stud Earrings, $150. Also comes in rose and white gold.

Annie Fensterstock 22 Karat Yellow Gold Studs With Hammered Discs and Orange Sapphires, $500.

Crystal Clear Lip Glosses

Wipe the slate clean on your lips in 2007 with these crystal clear lip glosses!

Wipe the slate clean on your lips in 2007 with these crystal clear lip glosses! These back-to-basics glosses will instantly increase the wattage of your bright smile. They add high shine and are low maintenance.

A little mascara, some brightening blush and one of these glosses will give you a glowing and fresh faced look. A clean look is a fabulous way to start off the year! Here are my top five picks for mess less, crystal clear lip glosses. Please let me know which is your favorite! Finding the right basic clear gloss is like trying on a glass slipper.

MAC Clear LipGlass, $13, is an industry fave. This oldie but goodie was the original high shine sticky lacquer whose fabulous formula and price point hasn't changed a bit over the years. It helps to soften and condition your lips and one small tube will last forever since all you need is a tiny drop for full coverage.

Bobbi Brown Crystal Lip Gloss, $16, may be MAC LipGlass's rival since it's also been around the block and has a similar super shiny effect. This easy to use gloss creates instant shine and lip enhancement. It also has a sweet and fresh smell to it.

Elizabeth Arden Crystal Clear Lip Gloss in Clear, $14. This high-impact gloss is lightweight, goes on smoothly and helps add just a little punch to bare lips. Its great spearmint flavor is fun and fresh.

Love It or Hate It

Milk Stretsis Dress: Love It or Hate It?

I don't know about you, but I'm a little striped out for the season.

I don't know about you, but I'm a little striped out for the season. While I like stripes, I think I've seen too many recently; I'm retiring my stripes for when they seem fresh again. In the meantime, what do you all think of this Milk Stretsis Dress found by swwonder in the Love It or Hate It? group. This olive and cream rugby-stripe tissue jersey dress with oversize collar is overkill for me. To stripe or not to stripe? Love or hate?
