Last week I told you I needed a new day time moisturizer with SPF. It has been ingrained in our heads that we must use sunscreen on a regular basis and I try to abide by this. While I like the moisturizer I've been using, this Cetaphil Daily Facial Moisturizer, SPF 15, Fragrance Free, $9.99, surprise! It expires this month. It actually has an expiration date on it and it perfectly lasted me about a year and a half. I would recommend this Cetaphil moisturizer but I'm wondering what your tried and true daytime moisturizers with SPF are.

Beauty Mark #1, found by JessNess, is this Olay Complete All Day UV Defense Moisture Lotion with SPF 15. This was recommended by a couple ladies so this is my top pick. Designed for sensitive skin, this light, non-greasy lotion is 100% color and fragrance free.

The Spring/Summer ad campaigns have arrived in the new issues of all our favorite fashion bibles and I wanna talk about them! I grew up drooling over fashion through memorable and provocative ads. Some fashion brands can be quickly identified by their famous ads, for example, Versace, Kenneth Cole, Gucci and Diesel. My 'Fab Ads' will serve as a round table to discuss the effectiveness, beauty and selling power of our favorite, and not so favorite, fashion advertisements.

To kick this off, here is the Spring/Summer '07 campaign for Italian denim pioneer Diesel.

While Diesel is known for showing their clothes through sexual messages, this season they decided to take the social commentary angle. Shot by Terry Richardson, the ads feature everyday scenes that have been drastically altered due to rising temperatures and seas. Global Warming is a hot topic right now and Diesel's aim was to take the serious issue and put it into the surreal world of premium denim. In this ad, parrots have replaced the pigeons of Venice's St. Mark's Square - signifying a world that's been turned upside down.

There is no doubt metallics have staying power. This trend is actually transpiring all the way down to your fingertips! That's right, - beauty and fashion are cyclical and silver nails are back. Just look at these silver toes at the Chanel Spring show. What makes this particular photo even cooler is the model's sprinkling of star tattoos.


Here are three of my favorite strictly silver polishes for those of you trendsetters brave enough to veer away from safe and simple light pink polishes.

OPI Rinse Charming Nail Lacquer, $7.50, not only has a cute and catchy name but it has a deep silver hue to it. This is definitely the deepest out of these three colors. In my experience OPI polishes last a long time and are true to color. Try it and let me know what you think!

Oh reunions. This is one of those events people either love to attend or loathe to attend. Personally, I went to my five year high school reunion and had a blast. But yes, I felt like I was in a good place at the time and had something to show for myself. And, I made sure I looked incredible! My ten year high school reunion is next year and I'm pretty sure I'll attend. But what does one wear to a such a nerve-inducing event? I say as long as you're confident and look your best, however the evening goes, put your best foot forward. I'll start you off with this Prada Ruched Nylon/Leather Handbag, $1,650. This bag is simply fabulous and a definite confidence booster if you ask me.
