If it isn't obvious based on the couple of Spring Peeks I've done, dresses are the wardrobe staple for Spring 2007. This is exciting news! Not only are dresses feminine but they have a natural ease and don't require as much matching skills as separates. They are also (usually) comfortable and are a look in itself. Lastly, they make you feel like a woman - and nobody's complaining about that! While the minidress was a standout, calf-length and floor-grazing gowns in a plethora of colors will be available for Spring.

It may not be prom season but you all know I like to play dress up, and I thought this Pretty in Purple prom look, posted by swwonder, was just so stunning. She is today's Look Book Look of the Day. I love the simplicity, and the fit is perfect; this shade of purple is beautiful against her skin tone too.
Here's what she put together:
- Purple gown: Debenhams (UK department store)
- Bow brooch: Vintage
And apparently she had a really pretty vintage bag, but we can only see a tiny glimpse of it behind her - phooey!
Congrats to swwonder!

Jessica Alba was sizzling on the beach in Miami over the holidays with her super sexy sidekick, boyfriend Cash Warren. Don't we all wish we could look that good?! There were a few requests for her miss-matched bikini and we are happy to say we found it!
Vitamin A Swimwear, $150
Amazon is making its way into one of our favorite territories: shoes and handbags! Welcome Amazon! They just launched Endless.com, a separate online shop that sells women's shoes and handbags as well as men's and kids' shoes. And the best part? They offer free overnight shipping and free returns. Yeah, I couldn't believe it either but it appears to be true: you just have to order before 7:30PM EST. I'm really curious about this promise and am tempted to buy something just to test it!
The site is very easy to navigate, with a sub-menu on the left that helps you narrow your search. You can narrow your search by color, brand, size, category, price and width - they have everything covered. The designers are a bit limited - no super hot designers - but there are more affordable ones, and they are adding more. For shoes, I noticed Delman, BCBG, Kenneth Cole, Jessica Simpson, Oh Deer! and Tyler by Richard Tyler. While they don't carry high-end designers, this is a great destination to buy basics. You can also select specific designers and search them all as a group. I know I'm going to peruse this site this weekend; come back and tell me what you all think! Here are my picks:
Tyler by Richard Tyler Women's Rumba Open Toe Patent Pump, on sale for $59.89 (originally $124.95).
Hype Florian Medium Hobo, $175.

Did anyone see the fab color matching story in this month's Lucky magazine? While it was a rather thin issue, this story stood out and I thought you would enjoy doing a Fab Finding around it. To me, the most difficult color combination was violet and navy. Here's a pair of Portolano purple leather cashmere-lined gloves, on sale for $57.60 (originally $72).
Let's go Fab Finding and help me put together a violet and navy outfit. I only gave you gloves so have fun finding some separates, shoes and a bag. Don't forget to tag your items with violet navy. In fact, she's quite fetching! With all the backlash against super skinny models and the new model regulations in Spain and Milan, I think a revolution is under way. An appreciation for a woman's natural curves is surfacing within fashion. What ever happened to the days of curvy screen sirens like Sophia Loren and Bridgette Bardot? I know times change, but these ladies were wonderfully womanly.
Life & Style did a recent story and glammed up curvy Ugly Betty star America Ferrera. We all can achieve her classic, Marilyn Monroe look with a shoulder-baring sweater, cinched belt and full skirt. I love this default look so much I put my own outfit together for Betty, er, America. Bombshells away!

A bit of whimsy is always nice. This Stella McCartney Bird Purse, found by WhiplashGirlchild, flew into the Love It or Hate It? group. This is a shoulder bag with a zip closure and chain strap, and a lot of personality. I like a little animal instinct when it comes to fashion, what about you? Love or hate this cute little flutterpie?
