Fab Read: Ralph Lauren Deluxe

Ralph Lauren has defined American style with his designs of luxury, adventure, and beauty.

Ralph Lauren has defined American style with his designs of luxury, adventure, and beauty. Now, he is sharing his private and public life with his devoted followers in Ralph Lauren Deluxe, $252. The hardcover tome, which comes with a crocodile embossed-leather case, features never-before-seen pictures of Lauren with his family. Lauren also talks about his life, work, and inspiration.

For the second part, Lauren hand-picked his most beloved work, which includes runway shots as well as advertising campaigns. What's more, the introduction features Audrey Hepburn, taken from her 1992 presentation speech at the CFDA awards. This would make for a quite luxurious gift...

Style For Style: Slippery Soles and Soda

Not too long ago, I gave you a solution for slippery soles.

Not too long ago, I gave you a solution for slippery soles. As you're about to find out, there's more than one way to get rid of this issue and it doesn't involve spending a fortune. Because why pay money for the solution when the actual problem (i.e. these gorgeous Guess Pyramid Slingback Pumps, $120) are already pricey enough?

Blanka Limited Edition Re-Bag: Love It or Hate It?

Most of us have seen those t-shirts with screen-printed bags on them but a canvas bag with a bag on it is something new.

Most of us have seen those t-shirts with screen-printed bags on them but a canvas bag with a bag on it is something new. This Blanka Limited Edition Dark Grey Re-Bag ($31) is interesting because the straps of the printed buckle bag also double as the straps of the actual canvas bag. Trippy. Thoughts?

Celebrity Style: Jessica Simpson

Jessica Simpson was the hottest gal (ok, one of the only famous gals) at the Gibson Amphitheatre in LA last night.

Jessica Simpson was the hottest gal (ok, one of the only famous gals) at the Gibson Amphitheatre in LA last night. Though she was there in honor of country music, thankfully she didn't dress the part. Instead, she wore a tight Michael Kors orange number that hugged her in all the right places. She finished the look with fun gold accessories. Here she reminds me a lot of the pre-divorce Jess and I like!

Come Fab Finding With Me: Sad But True, A Funeral

Funerals are never planned, but we all end up attending one sooner or later.

Funerals are never planned, but we all end up attending one sooner or later. I always find choosing the appropriate thing to wear a difficult task — you have to balance subtle with chic, and even err on the conservative side. If you found yourself attending a funeral this Fall, what would you wear?

I'll start you off with this Lanvin Pearls & Satin Necklace, $450, because it's understatedly chic — just make sure you put the bow in the back! Come back and tell me when your Fab Finds are up and tag them Fall funeral.

Now, you can build outfits by creating a list of clothing items. We have everything you need to build outfits with and you can use your Fab Find bookmarks too. This is an even better way to put together an entire outfit when you are completing your Fab Finding missions.

Elisha Cuthbert

How Would YOU Wear It? Elisha Cuthbert

There wasn't a boy who didn't drool over actress Elisha Cuthbert when she starred in The Girl Next Door in 2004.

There wasn't a boy who didn't drool over actress Elisha Cuthbert when she starred in The Girl Next Door in 2004. But she just killed all her sex appeal with this ensemble. The leopard top isn't so bad, but those cropped cream pants remind me of something my unstylish grade-school teacher wore back in the day.

If I were Elisha out and about in LA, I'd first ditch the unflattering pants and wear a pair of slick stovepipe pants or dark denim. Only then would I carry that cream purse; in her current state, too much cream is tacky. I'd keep the top as it's on point with the latest leopard trend and the bow peep-toe heels as they're cute.

Boots

Simply Fab: Gryson Fold Down Boot

Paying nearly a whole paycheck for a pair of boots may seem blasphemous to some.

Paying nearly a whole paycheck for a pair of boots may seem blasphemous to some. But what if I told you paying $825 for Gryson's Fold Down Boot will get you more than what you bargained for?

Unlike all boots out there, this one acts as four pairs. It can be worn at the knee, ankle, calf or scrunched — simply fold the boot up or down to your desired height. Colors include cerise (pictured), mushroom, deep brown, and black. A four-in-one boot is so much more fun (and worth the money) than one!

It's oft namedropped by the Gossip Girls and happens to be one of my favorite Fifth Avenue flagships, and this is one serious step forward for womankind.

Henri Bendel has staked out its proverbial territory in the world wide web by launching its first web site, HenriBendel.com! The site is full of party pictures, fashion tips, event listings, and even a little e-shopping. Accessories, beauty products and gift items are all available now, and some branded products will be introduced next month, including accessories from Ted Rossi and Kooba.
