Which Jennifer Garner The Kingdom Look is Most Fab?

Jennifer is usually not on my fashion radar.

Jennifer is usually not on my fashion radar. What can I say — when the girl is dressed down, she is dressed way down. But when the girl is dressed up she is dressed to the nines and with the premiere of The Kingdom, her stylist has been working overtime. And I must say: nice work. What I like about Jennifer's looks over the past couple weeks is the color variety — there is not one LBD in the mix. But down to business: which look is most Fab?

Addio, Valentino!

Take a good long look ladies, you're witnessing a moment in fashion history — a designer great's last collection. Consummately Val, the collection was rich & colorful, with plenty of polka dots, ruffles, bows, and beautiful gowns to go around. But he didn't get mired in the past; instead, he added some unexpected elements to keep it fresh — such as twisted pleating, 3-D garlands of petals, and colorblocking.

Then came the gowns, oh how those Valentino gowns will be missed (Alessandra Facchinetti, you've got quite the duty ahead of you). Mermaid, column, one-shoulder, and strapless were all present, looking as gorgeous as ever. It's the end of an era, but what an end it was...

The Bag To Have: Mayle Jeanne Bag

Many people outspokenly condemn "It" bags.

Many people outspokenly condemn "It" bags. That's because trendy bags have a very short arm life. Don't get me wrong, designer purses have their place — I'm guilty of owning a few myself — but there's nothing better than paying a hefty price for a bag and being able to use it for a lifetime.

This Mayle Jeanne Bag, $495, grabbed my attention for that reason. Not only is it the perfect size, it's also worth the money because it's simple and unfussy. The gold chain strap adds a bit of flair and the subtle patchwork leather is unique. It comes in black, iris, lilac grey and nude (pictured).

Can't you just see yourself carrying it today, tomorrow and for years to come?

Fab Meets Brittany Snow!

Last night Fab was invited to a Guess and Vogue soiree at the Guess flagship store in downtown San Francisco.

Last night Fab was invited to a Guess and Vogue soiree at the Guess flagship store in downtown San Francisco. We mixed and mingled, but it was an extra treat when we spotted actress Brittany Snow checking out the brand's latest fashions. Of course, we beelined to her and had a fun gab fest.

We chatted about New York Fashion Week — her favorite show was Erin Fetherston, with BCBG closely behind. She spilled about her trip to San Francisco, it being her first ever, and she hit up Saks Fifth Avenue, Neimans and Macy's. Her recent purchases were a pricey Vince t-shirt from Saks and a slew of Guess items.

Since yours truly will be attending Los Angeles Fashion Week in two weeks (yay!), we asked Brittany if she'd be there. She has attended in the past and may also show up this year. Let's cross our fingers that we bump into our lovely friend again!

What Do You Wear to Bed? Growing up in my parents' house, I always slept in traditional matching PJ's, usually the flannel kind mainly because our house was freezing but also because my mom loved buying me cute jammies. As I've gotten older and lived on my own, I've sexed up my nightwear and expanded my PJ drawer with nighties, cute undies and sexy tank tops.

Celebrity Style: Carmen Electra

DJ Mark Ronson's concert in LA brought out many celebs, including the lovely Carmen Electra. The actress was dressed down but still stylish in her Joie feather-print blouse, wide-leg black jeans and Balenciaga motorcycle bag. The beaded bracelets with the bangles create a grungy effect perfect for a concert. And it looks like black nail polish is here to stay through Fall.

Which Parisian High-Style Hairstyle Do You Like Most? Boy, do these models look happy or what? I kid, I kid. On the left is a look from Junya Watanabe, in the middle is one from Issey Miyake, and at right is one from Valentino. I love Paris Fashion Week because it's so high-concept and unwearable—and because it's perfectly timed to give me Halloween ideas, heh. Which of these looks do you like most?

Fab Flash: House of Schiaparelli To Be Restored

Update: Olivier Theyskens was thought to maybe take over the helm but sources have confirmed this false.

Update: Olivier Theyskens was thought to maybe take over the helm but sources have confirmed this false. 2010 is the date we can expect to witness the revival.

Before you know it, we may have another storied fashion house back on our hands. The Italian business mogul Diego Della Valle, who also owns Tod's, bought the rights to Elsa Schiaparelli earlier this year.

Ever since, he's been on the hunt for a designer to bring the house, most famous for its 1937 surrealist lobster evening dress collaboration with Salvador Dali, back to its former glory. Talks with Roland Mouret fell through, but WWD is reporting that British designer Giles Deacon has risen to the top of the pile. Exciting!
