Crop tops tend to conjure up bad memories: the overexposed midriffs of the '90s, anyone?
Cropped jackets, on the other hand, have all kinds of class and sass about them. Especially when they come in Chanel-worthy boucle, like this 60s double-breasted version. It's boxy enough to look great over a slim-fitting dress or some hot, high-waisted jeans. Either way, it steers clear of tacky territory — something a crop top can't quite brag about.
The current bidding price is at $11.50 and the auction ends on Thursday (tomorrow!), Nov. 15.
Have I mentioned how much I love a blonde in green? What a glamorous combo. A very pregnant and very blonde Christina Aguilera hit up Kitson for a Rock the Vote party in a green silk ruffle dress by Vanitas. Looks like she's following Nicole Richie, who also wore Vanitas while pregnant. The patent Yves Saint Laurent bag and T-strap Loubs are also divine. Talk about hot mama-to-be!
I traveled for pleasure last weekend, but I was all business on the plane ride to my destination. As I was reading the airline's free magazine, I came across a genius tip to remove lint from your clothes while en route at the airport. More on that after the jump.
We can all agree that lint is annoying, especially if you left your self-cleaning lint brush at home. But you can't let a fuzzy problem like that get in the way of your perfect ensemble and a good time.

At New York Fashion Week, Carmen Electra wore Diane von Furstenberg's turquoise and black Rosario dress. Last night, Paris Hilton was spotted in NYC wearing the same dress. Obviously both girls give the frock their own unique flair. Carmen went for a more sexy look with her peep-toe, black and gold pumps and a chunky necklace. Paris opted for funky with houndstooth tights and a leather jacket, but it's not surprising given her latest tight-happy streak. Who do you think wore it better?
Girl About Town: Katie Holmes Katie Holmes, clad in Monique Lhuillier, got her first taste of fame playing the fresh faced Joey Potter on the WB series, Dawson's Creek. A lot has changed since then. She's gone on to star in blockbusters, indie flicks, and has a high-profile marriage to Tom Cruise. She's also become quite the fashionista!0 Comments
In recent seasons, headlining British designers like Matthew Williamson, Stella McCartney, and Luella Bartley have returned to show on their home turf during London Fashion Week. Even Marc Jacobs chose to present his Marc by Marc Jacobs show in London a couple seasons ago.
Today, more proof that London is experiencing a fashion capital renaissance comes with a new coup d'etat: Vivienne Westwood, who has shown in Paris since the early '80s, is reportedly planning to unveil one or more of her Fall 2008 collections at London Fashion Week in February.
If Catwoman carried a bag, it would be a super slick black bag. There's everything sexy about one of these. Sexy ... and dangerous. Sexy, dangerous, and ready to kick some ass. Sorry, got a little carried away. One can get caught up in the fantasy of one of these dark lovelies. If you consider yourself a Hero-type, rescue one of these from retail doom and never look back. Ever.
In case you missed it, Eva Mendes is Campari's new calendar girl. Though the main focus is supposed to be the alcoholic beverage, I can't help but be mesmerized by her over-the-top, glamorous ensembles. These four are by far the standouts of the bunch. They're all red-carpet worthy, but the one I'd love to borrow is the long, gold sequined gown. Which one do you want to borrow?
