Fab Finding Follow Up: Winter Weekend Escape

In the midst of all of the end-of-year madness, sometimes it's nice to take a breather.

In the midst of all of the end-of-year madness, sometimes it's nice to take a breather. Let's face it: Holidays may mean you take off time from work, but they're no vacation.

To get some true you time, you're taking a weekend escape to a friend's cabin up in Lake Tahoe. I started you off with this Floral Crochet Hat ($28) because it's a cute topper and will keep your head cozy. Be sure to check out all the Winter escape Fab Finds.

Let's see what you all came up with!

Oh! Now, you can build outfits by creating a list of clothing items. We have everything you need to build outfits with, and you can use your Fab Find bookmarks, too. This is an even better way to put together an entire outfit when you are completing your Fab Finding missions.

Look #1, created by fashionhore, is very Winter chic; I love the draped neckline of the coat and the unexpected pumpkin-colored gloves.

Fab Gift Guide: Hippie Dude

Antiwar. Antimeat. Antifashion (gasp!). Is there anything Hippie Dude isn't anti?

Antiwar. Antimeat. Antifashion (gasp!). Is there anything Hippie Dude isn't anti? I'm sure he'd be happy to know about the green fashion movement; then again, it's been his cup of green tea since he left home to attend Humboldt University. But ok. Send these websites his way: Sweatshop Watch, Behind the Label, and Free Cycle, and he has to be impressed. Hippies are indeed hard to shop for, here are some hippie-keen ideas.

Be sure to peruse all of our Gift Guides and download our Fab Gift Guide worksheet to help keep you organized!

Celebrity Style: Rachel Bilson

Rachel Bilson is in the lead for Best Celebrity Sidewalk Style, but I have to say she cleans up quite well for the red carpet.

Rachel Bilson is in the lead for Best Celebrity Sidewalk Style, but I have to say she cleans up quite well for the red carpet. I searched far and wide for her darling, studded turquoise dress because I think everyone should have one just like it. Phillip Lim's version is quite similar and on sale! In true Rachel style, she kept the rest of her outfit casual with the silver wedges and a simple black clutch. From the sidewalk to the red carpet, R-Bils knows how to deliver.

Fab Flash: Marc Jacobs' Arabian Nights Christmas Party

Marc Jacobs' annual Christmas party is legendary, and last night's Arabian Nights-themed bash was no exception.

Marc Jacobs' annual Christmas party is legendary, and last night's Arabian Nights-themed bash was no exception.

It's always a guessing game to see what ridiculousness Marc will wear next: for his past Christmas parties, he has dressed up as everything from a ketchup bottle to a pigeon. This year, he decided to take a stance against a major fashion faux-pas — still staying in Arabian Nights theme, of course — as a camel toe. Later, he shed the bulky fashion no-no for an Aladdin costume to go with boyfriend Jason Preston's Abu get-up. Love it!

Do You Like Whitney Port's Hair Better Straight or Wavy? Not only does Whitney Port from The Hills have a gorgeous body, a pretty face, and an awesome job, but she also seems totally sincere and sweet. (I really hope that Hollywood doesn't dig its nails into this lady and change her.) If you're in New York this Friday, you can see for yourself: She's going to be at Bloomingdale’s 59th Street from 1–2pm to pose with fans for personalized bottles of Happy.

Project Runway Fashion Quiz: Episode 5 "What's the Skinny"

Was last night's episode of Project Runway not the most emotional yet?

Was last night's episode of Project Runway not the most emotional yet? The most shocking bit, the whole Jack/Chris switcheroo, had me in tears one minute and laughing the next. And the challenge itself tugged on the heartstrings: recrafting the favorite outfits of women who had recently lost a considerable amount of weight. Overall, it was a great episode. However, my vote went to Kevin's outfit — not Christian's — even with the leggings. I just thought his model looked the most Fab in that little strapless top. Aside from all the emotions, were you paying attention to the details? Take our quiz and see!
