It boggles my mind when one girl spends an exorbitant amount of money on a ho-um dress. Then, two girls wear the aforementioned dress and it just makes me throw my hands up in the air and pray to the fashion gods. Such is the case with this Chloe crystal mini dress. It looks like a volcano exploded and dispersed blobs of crystals all around, expensive crystals. It's not my taste, but obviously Hilary Duff's and model Jacquetta Wheeler's. Who do you think wore it better?
Who is this matron and what has she done with the sassy Mischa Barton? I've always known that Mischa is capable of making fashion faux pas, but this is pure insanity! At the Closing the Ring UK premiere, it appears the actress is having an identity crisis.
The only thing I applaud Mischa for are her studded, Louboutin Mary Janes. Other than that, I'd save the bow-tie blouse for a luncheon and the poofy black-taffeta skirt for a Halloween costume. She should have simply chosen a more age-appropriate dress. Perhaps she can take some pointers from her former O.C. co-star Rachel Bilson.

Nonetheless, GQ named the two Couple of the Year — a title that is slightly misleading, considering that Seth and Daria are no real-life couple, but one that does make a good excuse for a fun photoshoot. Daria and Seth ham it up for the camera, playing a couple with a definitive taste for high fashion: Seth wears a $2,120 tracksuit in one shot! I wonder what he thought of the cat-like creature that is Daria . . .

Chloe had a big bash and naturally the celebrities turned out. Becki Newton stole the show in a Chloe strapless, flannel dress, but what's up with her black boots? They take the focus away from the gorgeous frock. Since she's obviously trying to defeminize the dress, I gave her an equally edgy, but pretty pair of platforms. I do love her coin necklaces and super-straight hair. Her look is a refreshing change from all the leggings and scarves we've been bombarded with lately. Keep it up, Becki!

This time of year it seems like there's a never-ending stream of cocktail parties to attend. I wouldn't be Fab if I didn't love dressing up, but sometimes it's nice to switch it up a little.
