The Bag to Have: Jill Stuart Valerie Patent Bag

Is it me or is there a recent shortage of show-stopping handbags on the shelves?

Is it me or is there a recent shortage of show-stopping handbags on the shelves? As I was starting to loose faith, this Jill Stuart Valerie Patent Bag ($277, originally $395) came along. First thing that caught my eye was the gorgeous emerald hue (it also comes in black and espresso); it's so festive and rich. Carry it to your fabulous holiday parties and be ready for all the female guests to gush. Don't be jealous — it's only a bag!

Hopefully by now you have either purchased your holiday gifts or know exactly what you're going to get for your posse. Now on to gift wrap. For the Fabionista on your list, be sure to pretty up her present with this Retta Le Ritz Blue Lattice Wrapping Paper ($8). It's stylish and very Van Cleef and Arpel-ish, no? Gift wrapping just got a little more fun!

Best of 2007: Most Fab Designer

You voted Nicolas Ghesquière for Balenciaga for best designer of 2007.

You voted Nicolas Ghesquière for Balenciaga for best designer of 2007. After much deliberation, Fab's vote goes to Alber Elbaz for Lanvin. It was a very tough decision, but I think we can all agree that the Fall collection teased a little something and the Spring collection was a full-blown fashion orgasm. We can't wait to see what's next for the house of Lanvin. One thing we know for sure: More retail stores and product expansions are on the horizon.

Celebrity Style: Hayden Panettiere

What a lovely little lady Hayden Panettiere has become!

What a lovely little lady Hayden Panettiere has become! While most other stars showed up to Z100's Annual Jingle Ball in casual gear, the petite actress stepped it up a notch in a dramatic white ruffle blouse and black pencil skirt. Some may say she's a tad overdressed for the occasion, but I say more power to her. . . . this is how fashionistas ought to differentiate themselves from the masses.

Versace Does Chocolate Could it be that the food world is suddenly a super trendy place to see and be seen? With Eva Longoria opening a restaurant and Paris Hilton launching a brand of canned champagne, it's only natural that the lady who dresses these gals would jump on the bandwagon. Donatella Versace — commonly known for her curve hugging dresses and long blond locks — has recently announced a luxury line of chocolates.

Come Fab Finding With Me: Holiday Family Reunion

The holiday season is all about family time, and for many of us, it's also a time when we visit with family we don't see very often.

The holiday season is all about family time, and for many of us, it's also a time when we visit with family we don't see very often. When you reunite with family for the holidays, you want to show them that you're doing well and still looking good — so no ugly holiday sweaters, Bridget-Jones style.

Instead, I'll start you off with this Vince Portrait Coat ($228, originally $325) because it's a chic version of the dreaded-holiday sweater. Come back and tell me when your Fab Finds are up and tag them holiday reunion.

Now, you can build outfits by creating a list of clothing items. We have everything you need to build outfits with, and you can use your Fab Find bookmarks, too. This is an even better way to put together an entire outfit when you are completing your Fab-Finding missions.

Fashion That Made You Think in 2007

Who says fashion doesn't make you think?

Who says fashion doesn't make you think? In 2007, there were more than a couple of fashion moments that got you clicking your mouse and tapping your head: Lindsay Lohan's rainbow Herve Leger dress had you swooning and Gemma Ward's appearance on the debut Vogue India got tongues wagging.

Who would have thought with Posh's seemingly endless closet, she would wear the same outfit twice? You were fascinated with a supermodel's maternity wardrobe and divided about sequin dresses on the red carpet — but when it all comes down to it, these are the moments that got your gears going in 2007.
