I've already been a bridesmaid one too many times in my life. Can you sense the lack of enthusiasm in my voice, er words? If my friends had let me wear this Calypso Satin Convertible Wrap Dress ($270), my outlook on bridesmaid fashion would be very different. What I love about it is that it can be worn eight different ways . . . or more, if you're super creative. As if that wasn't Fab enough, it's hand washable. Gorgeous and low-maintenance? Nice.
True: Nicole Richie looked very chic when she attended her court hearing. False: her outfits were featured in W magazine. You loved Nicole's look of redemption, but our vote goes to Naomi who reported for Sanitation Department duty in New York in a bevy of designer duds and with a smile on her face. And for Naomi, a smile goes a long way in my book. Hopefully, we won't have to compare redemption style in '08, but kids are going to have to start behaving first!
I think it's safe to say if you book Kate Moss for an ad campaign she can single-handedly ameliorate the brand. Then, choose to have hubbie/wife duo Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin shoot, and, well, you get something quite fabulous. As you know I'm on a YSL kick, especially in the handbag arena, and the designer of 2007, Alber Elbaz, may have some stiff competition in the Year of the Rat. As for Kate, she's the chic girl who would never be caught yearning for fashion through a store window, but she is. That's the power of YSL.

I must share the exciting news: I found my New Year's outfit! OK, it doesn't involve a one shoulder top, but I bought one of those along the way. Back to New Year's: Be sure to look for it in my Look Book next year! As for the one shoulder top I got, it reminded me how sexy the bare shoulder can be, and this has got to be the perfect date or night-on-the-town top. So it may be a a bit disco . . . I've got disco fever.
Never in a million years did I think I'd be comparing Fab favorite Cameron Diaz and trainwreck Britney Spears. If anything, it's a sign that Britney may be on the upswing. And this striped black Juicy Couture cardigan is a cutie. Though Cameron looks great in just about anything, Britney wears it similarly: boots, jeans, keeping it simple. Except for the fedora . . . nevertheless, who do you think wore it better?

I oft express my love for the mix of black and white; with that pairing, one can never go wrong. While shopping on Robertson, Nicky Hilton rocked the classy color combo in the form of a white hot Valentino bag, white Gucci flats, a black velvet blazer, and stovepipe jeans. To sass up her ensemble, she threw in a metallic scarf and black Tom Ford shades. The next time you wear all black, do like Nicky and add a couple white accessories to set you apart.
