Italian brand, Miss Sixty, revealed their Fall 2007 collection yesterday. This collection delivered a big dose of flash with a bit of trash. A fusion of 60's, 70's and 80's influences, the palette was warm jewel tones and cold black, red and white. Lurex fabrics were mixed with billowy florals, creating a union of sparkle and femme.

A couple of trends we're familiar with lingered: leggings, headgear, menswear and metallics. Skin was an accessory here, with revealing cowl neck tops and an enormous keyhole neck dress. Interesting to note: the show opened with drop-waist dresses and closed with high-waisted wide leg pants. Best known for their form-fitting denim they delivered creative versions of dresses, skirts, overalls, and jackets.

My favorite looks were tailored: an adorable black mod-inspired pea coat, a teal leather blazer (pictured) and a sparkly mustard top paired with a loose black vest and black wide-leg trousers.

Back in July, Elizabeth Hurley signed on as Jordache's new spokesmodel. Months after shooting her magnificent ad campaign (damn she looks good!), she began her first official duties promoting the brand last night.

At Macy's in New York City's Herald Square, Liz hung out with some hottie hunks wearing her new Spring/Summer 2007 Jordache jeans and a fabulously sexy purple lace camisole. The line is now available at all Macy's locations. To read more about Liz's wedding plans click here.

Wahoo! As I predicted, the skinny jean backlash has begun and wide legged jeans are on the rise. Don't get me wrong - I have warmed up to the skinny silhouette, but I am a 70's girl at heart and love the elongating look of a wide legged pant. Also, I am tall so it makes my legs look super long. But for non-tall gals, it created a long, lean look so really, this is good news for all. With New York Fashion week officially under way, I wonder how many wide legs we're going to see on the runways for Fall 2007.
