Beauty Mark It! The Quest For The Best Self Tanner

Do you remember all of the hype about a year ago over Jergen's Natural Glow Daily Moisturizer?

Do you remember all of the hype about a year ago over Jergen's Natural Glow Daily Moisturizer? Like the rest of America, I just had to have it and I found myself frantically hopping around to three different drug stores until I was able to find a tube of the coveted Natural Glow for Face. I used it for a month or so and until I realized that I was turning a bit orange and that constant strong self tanner smell was starting to make me feel woozy! I need some help finding a new self tanner that is light, natural looking and has a smell that I can stomach.

I asked you all to go beauty marking to help me find a new self tanner. To see all the self tanner picks cick here.

Let's see what you all book marked! Oh, and it was interesting to note that most of the beauty marks were non-drugstore brands. Makes me wonder: does cost really provide quality with self tanners?

Beauty Mark #1, found by DesignRchic, is this Decleor Aroma Sun Hydrating Self-Tanning Milk, $35.50. This ultra-smooth, non-oily emulsion develops into a rich, natural-looking tan in one to two hours as it keeps the skin hydrated and glowing.

Love It or Hate It

Bjork's Infamous Swan Dress: Love It or Hate It?

I loved Bjork's infamous swan dress, designed by Marjan Pejoski, that she wore on the 2001 Oscars red carpet.

I loved Bjork's infamous swan dress, designed by Marjan Pejoski, that she wore on the 2001 Oscars red carpet. Hear me out: you have to have your red carpet risk takers to mix things up no? Honestly, gorgeous gown after gorgeous gown can get a little redundant; don't we all love to gasp and gossip at least once during the red carpet parade? I also really admire Bjork as a musician and feel she's a true artist - her choice communicated this. What did you all think? Did you love it or hate it? I know Giggle's opinion.

Celebrity Style: Mischa Barton

Mischa Barton sure does love clothes!

Mischa Barton sure does love clothes! I appreciate how she takes risks and seems to always be one step ahead of the fashion curve, and this outfit is no different. Her high waisted jeans and yellow top are getting me pumped for Spring. It's just too bad we have to (officially) wait until March 21st!

Clinique

Beauty Byte: Clinique to the Rescue!

After discovering my new Clinique eye cream, and still loving it btw, I am psyched for Clinique's newest moisturizer: Continuous Rescue Antioxidant Moisturizer, to hit counters in March.

After discovering my new Clinique eye cream, and still loving it btw, I am psyched for Clinique's newest moisturizer: Continuous Rescue Antioxidant Moisturizer, to hit counters in March. This is considered a basic moisturizer that contains eight rapid and delayed-release antixodants that are supposed to help defuse free radicals before they have the chance to cause skin damage - doesn't sound so basic to me!

This product will be available in three skin type formulas: one for dry skin, one for dry/combination skin and one for combination/oily to oily skin.

So why buy this new Clinique moisturizer? According to Beth Spruance, vice president of global treatment marketing:

"We see this product for a customer who wants to maintain strong and healthy skin and prevent premature aging."

Premiering Tonight! The Agency

Ok I admit it: I will be checking out the new model TV show "The Agency" tonight at 10:00 PM on Vh1.

Ok I admit it: I will be checking out the new model TV show "The Agency" tonight at 10:00 PM on Vh1. I am an America's Next Top Model fan (premiering next week - wahoo!), but I have a feeling this show will deliver a different, and just as drama-filled, guilty pleasure experience. Although, I am a little worried of the timing for such a show. With all the controversy over models and the body image issue, these model agents could be seen as the devil when nit picking people's looks. On the flip side, I can't wait to see the male models! Will you watch with me? We can dish about it in a chat tomorrow? You know you want to...

The Look for Less: Missoni

Missoni is synonymous with luxurious zig zig knits.

Missoni is synonymous with luxurious zig zig knits. Missoni is also an investment piece. I myself only have an itty bitty scarf, but I love it. A couple of years ago the M Missoni line came out, providing the distinctive knits for a slightly less expensive price tag. Alas, anything Missoni is still an investment piece that stands out amongst the crowd. I saw this Missoni
Wavy Stripe Empire Dress
, $1,415, and thought the colors were too muted and the just-below-the-knee-length wasn't the most flattering. I then stumbled upon a look for less that I thought was a cuter and way cheaper alternative.
