Denim

[deener] Denim Spring Line

Here is one of my newest denim discoveries.

Here is one of my newest denim discoveries. I like [deener] because their denim is simple, yet sexy, and has really sleek lines. I'm not a fan of a lot of branding or bells and whistles on my jeans and if you're the same way check them out.

They are a premium denim brand with a unique take on the classic denim look. [deener] denim features premium fabrication and authentic washes and they are not just about jeans…it’s a full denim collection with a diverse selection of jackets, vests, jumpsuits, skirts, dresses, shorts, knickers and outerwear. Created with fabrics sourced from the finest mills in Italy & Japan and distinctive, custom-designed hardware from Argentina, there is a clear attention to detail and quality in craftsmanship. Fall 2007

Milan Fashion Week, Fall 2007: Jil Sander

Jil Sander devotees are sharp suiters.

Jil Sander devotees are sharp suiters. Streamlined, clean concepts are always expected and for Fall designer Raf Simons delivered.

Understated yes, boring no. Really, when I viewed this collection it had a calming effect. Necklines were experimental: boatneck, draped, one shoulder and the house's signature turtleneck. Precise daywear in muted colors, with a splash of grape, white and what I call 'Jil Sander cobalt blue,' were starkly beautiful. The top and skirt sets weren't anything special but the coats and finale dresses sure were. Particularly, a black slim cocooned cape and white one shoulder dress. Subtle pleats, gorgeous leather and crisp metallics added flair.

New Makeup Trend: Suede Blush

Suede blush is a unique new concept that blends a few different powder blushes together and then presses them into one compact.

Suede blush is a unique new concept that blends a few different powder blushes together and then presses them into one compact. The result is a three in one: highlighter, deeper blush shade and brighter color to give off a more natural look and feel. I love this idea...it's perfect for those of you who don't like the fuss of having to blend your highlighter, contour and bronzer together.

Suede Blush by Cargo, $24, creates one perfect easy to wear powder blush that is foolproof to wear. It is sheer, and has a hint of shimmer to it to create a translucent glow. The formula is oil free, the product is plentiful (it comes in one of Cargo's huge tins) and it is available in three shades.

Love It or Hate It

Fendi Crossword Grande Net Bag: Love It or Hate It?

I am so glad someone put this in the Love It or Hate It?

I am so glad someone put this in the Love It or Hate It? group. My thoughts exactly tiani! This Fendi Crossword Grande Net Bag, $1,580, is horrible, a disgrace. She said it right with it looking like "a more expensive version of those hideous seatbelt bags." What do you all think? Love or hate?

Celebrity Style

Celebrity Style: Cameron Diaz

Cameron Diaz found solace shopping with her best bud, who is also going through a public breakup...they don't call it retail therapy for nothing; and I am sure Barneys New York doesn't mind!

Cameron Diaz found solace shopping with her best bud, who is also going through a public breakup...they don't call it retail therapy for nothing; and I am sure Barneys New York doesn't mind! As always, Cammie is casual, yet chic, sporting messy hair and t-shirts. I love this sequined jacket, but I wouldn't mind seeing the rest of her outfit a little more put together to go with this great piece.

Trend Alert: Snake Motifs

Fashion sure has a dark side lately with trends like studs, zippers and now snake motifs.

Fashion sure has a dark side lately with trends like studs, zippers and now snake motifs. These slithering creatures have found their way onto jewelry, handbags and even dresses - they sure are sneaky. I do admit I loved Jennifer Hudson's little gold snake on her Roberto Cavalli dress at the Grammys. And let's not forget the original femme fatale, Cleopatra, was a huge fan. While I would rather don this motif sexily around my wrist, for you more daring girls out there here are a few options.

Kenneth Jay Lane Jeweled Crystal Snake Cuff, $150.
